Vernand Morency (knee) came out of Sunday's game sore and will be limited in practice Wednesday.
Morency's primary role in Week 4 was on third downs, which may not change if he continues to experience soreness. The Packers are unlikely to rely on an injury-prone player to be the lead back in their running back committee.

Can someone please stick a fork in this guy and teach him how to ask "Would you like fries with that?".

In my thread, I'm asking for advice on an RB. What I didn't mention is that I'm trying to drop Vernand Morency.

What's sad is it took me 4 weeks to realize I need to avoid GB running backs.

"Came out" means "ended the game with," I think. Pretty sure I saw him playing in the fourth quarter. Plus, McCarthy's presser today, in which Mike called him "a little sore," doesn't paint quite as bleak as picture:

I thought [Morency]did some good things. The third down play, he runs an excellent route, beats Chad Greenway across the formation for a big third down. He had some nice pickups. Mo is an instinctive player, has a good feel on the checkdowns. He graded out good. He had a solid performance, but he didn't have a lot of opportunities.

Ideal situation for GB is gonna be Jackson the 1st and 2nd down back, Morency the 3rd down back.....Wynn blew his chance...

That situation is a mess. I dropped Jackson and got out of it!

Right there with you.

Brandon Jackson is the future of the Green Bay ground game.

Which, honestly, doesn't really mean much.

Still, I'm gonna stash him with Michael Bush for the future.

Which, again, really doesn't mean much, as I drafted Adrian Peterson too.

Man losing Brandon Jacobs really hurt me. Juggling the GB running backs was a joke. ATL needs to fkn realize they are going nowhere and need to start Norwood already and get him primed.
