McGowan's not exactly the best guy at keeping the stolen base from happening, but then again, look at the Jays last year. Pretty much none of their main starters did, and they were all highly succesful. If he can go 7 IP, give up 3 Hits, and 3 steals , it doesnt really matter.

I threw a couch cushin at my other friend, missed him, and it hit her and seriously somehow broke her nose. Had to end up going to the ER yesterday and might have to get plastic surgery She's totally cool with it though and not pissed at all, she was laughing the entire time even when we were taking pictures of her and the blood everywhere. She ruined my favorite bath towel though which is NOT cool.


As for the casino, I gambled from 2 PM Saturday straight through with one small dinner break for about 5 minutes to 12 PM Sunday/today afternoon. We completely missed out checkout. The weird thing was, I got off to an amazing start at the craps table and they comp'd all our meals and stuff and threw us some free spa things. We didn't use any of that stuff though, too busy gambling. I eventually ended up losing all of that though later on. Weird thing was, other then my crazy first hot streak at craps, I got my ass kicked there all night. On the flip side, the one game I absolutely hate and always kicks my ass (blackjack) treated me so well all night long and I only played that while waiting for a spot at a craps table.

Ladies and gents (oh, who am i kidding...gents), I present the 2008 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale.

Now, I'm a hophead. Have been ever since Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale graced my lips a few years ago. When you really develop a taste for beer, you start to appreciate different kinds of flavors. For me, it's that intense grain taste that I only find in Strong English Ales, Belgian Ales, and strong Pale Ales. For instance, the bitter taste in Arrogant Bastard? LOVE IT. Some say that I'm just trying to be novel or trendy - no sir. This is what I love.

So let me say first off - the 2008 has definitely scaled the hops down a bit and replaced it w/ the stronger, sweeter, more alcoholic flavors you usually find in a Belgian Ale, with hints of that indefinable grainy flavor you feel on your tongue in my favorite Strong English Ales (brews like BJ's Brewery's Jeremiah Red and Fuller's 1845). That flavor could be heightened by the higher alcohol content.

Anyways, I believe that this beer is a bit overwhelming at first but then irresistable.

Sidenote: I just want to remind you that the hops plant is a cousin of marijuana. JUST SAYING.
