David Carr (concussion, back) missed practice Wednesday.
Carr appears unlikely to be active in Week 10 against Atlanta.

Vinny Testaverde (Achilles tendinitis) returned to practice Wednesday.
As usual, coach John Fox wouldn't name his Week 10 starter, but if Vinny doesn't experience any setbacks this week, he'll likely be the pick. David Carr (head, back) didn't practice Wednesday. Testaverde's return to health and potentially the starting lineup would be encouraging news for Steve Smith.

I did not have much of a choice, but at least I can feet a little more comfortable starting Steve Smith.

Steve Smith owners should get together and do a Nancy Kerrigan on Carr.

Damn, and I just picked up the Atlanta DEF this morning thinking they would be going against Carr. Great, they don't have a chance now going against Vinny.
