Mine would have to be tuna sandwich with those ripplely chips in it. So delicioso

Yours?

My favorite boring homeade sanwich is a regular old Bologna with mayo, mustard, and pickles. My favorite sandwich of all time is probably the Godfather from Milio's, formerly known as Big Mike's Super Subs. It's a small chain here in Wisconsin. The sandwich has italian dressing, provolone cheese, onions, genoa salami, capicola ham, and hard salmai. It's amazing.

All time favorite is tuna salad with a little mozzerella and some sliced red onion.

Anytime you can get an authentic Philly cheesesteak, DO IT.
marioc2001
I love me a Turkey sandwich on italian bread, with Cheddar cheese(toasted), lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, jalapenos covered in ranch dressing. Mmmmm...

miltonj81
I used to run a pulled pork sandwich at my old restaurant marinated w/ Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce...probably not too healthy but damn good...used to add tobasco myself...
MustacheToes
The bootlegger at Jimmy Johns is pretty damn good, almost everything from Jersey Mike's is good, and everything at Subway sucks in my opinion.

When I make my own I usually go with turkey, bacon, mustard and then sprinkle some pepper on the mustard, lettuce, white american cheese, and a little bit of ranch.

I was for sure your favorite sandwich would be you as the meat and two young men as the bread.
Wizard of Boz
By far, a nice marinated steak tip sub with american cheese from LaCascia's in Medford Mass.....................mmmmmmm

Cuban Sandwich...philly cheesesteak is up there too and i mean a "real" philly from philly. cant go wrong with italian sub from Larry's giant subs either.
Ronin
i have had an amazing fried catfish sandwich with shaved-thin country ham. awesome! a reuben from carnegie deli in new york is also an ethereal experience.
GBPig99
When I lived with my dad in Florida, after every long night of drinking we would hit up 7/11 for a Cuban Grill. Oh man they were the best gas station sandwich ever.
ChillsWills
philly steaks are bomb but i cant have em too often, its like having a plate of clogged artery. same thing with shawarma or gyro sandwiches...but theyre so damn good.
nothing like having a nice, juicy medium rare rib eye steak with grilled mushrooms and onions though.

ima stop right there....im making myself hungry.

those 7/11 Cuban sammiches are good, but id highly reccommend trying a Cuban from some of the Cuban restaraunts. especially the whole in the wall type of places found all over the miami-Dade area.
LinceArmStrong
fried eggplant parm with fresh mutz

What about tortas, do those count as sandwiches? Those are amazing if you can find an authentic place to make one...

Mustcache, you clearly live on the west coast! MMMM, tortas. A Carne Asada torta is definitely underrated.

I can't list one sandwich though, i just can't. Mainly bc my fiance and i have a dream of opening a sandwich shop one day. But heres a few (other than the torta :-) ).

Oyster Po-Boy (if it's done right, preferably in the south)
Reuben
Hot Pastrami Sandwich, piled high w/ mustard and pickles
Crab Cake w/ a spicy remoulade
Philly Cheese (yum)
Black Forest Ham w/ Brie
Hot Italian Sub w/ the works (mayo, oil and vinegar, sweet peppers, hot peppers, onions....all of it)

Gosh, what a good thread. I'm salivating
Hokie79
My wife got me into putting avocados on my turkey sandwiches when I make them myself...so good. Also alfalfa sprouts are a very nice sandwich addition.

Do burgers count? If so nothing beats a bacon cheeseburger from Red Robin or Fuddruckers.
Timmah!
We used to be able to get great cheesesteaks from Larry's, situated directly across the street from the St. Joe's Fieldhouse. They used to stay open 'til 3am on the weekends, which was crucial. I say "used" to because a) it was 15 years ago, and b ), Larry's isn't there anymore.

At the same time though, there's no better burger than the Bull Burgers at Tony's in Girardville, PA. A half-pound slab of meat with onion, ketchup and their homemade hotsauce that you could smell through the bag from a block away. They stay open late on weekends, too. I haven't had one in years, and my mouth is watering just thinking about them.
johnnystick77
We're gettin off topic with the burgers imo. That debate could use a whole new thread, but i'd slap my grandma for an "In 'n' Out" burger! MMMMMMMMmmmmm.

pastrami dip from the HAT

I don't really lie sandwiches as I only eat about 3 or 4 different types of food. As long as it has steak bacon burger I'll be happy.

i went to Penn State and they built this restaurant my senior year, R U Hungry after the grease trucks at Rutgers

they made a sandwich which was a cheesesteak with bacon, mozzerella sticks, french fries and marinara sauce which was so good at 4am when you were drunk or when you were sober

I actually saw that place on TV I think. They were showing all the crazy food places and I could have swore they had a place exactly like that.
z32tt_envy
Any of you guys have a Mancino's or is that a Chicago thing only? Anyways, it is a Grinder restaurant and they have the best Steak Sandwich I have ever tasted in my life.

As far as Deli style, nothing beats a good Peppered Turkey, Bacon, Miracle Whip, Tomato, and Lettuce Sandwich on a toasted Kaiser roll.

Also, BWW has a Spicy Ranch Chicken Sandwich which is money!

The worst place to get subs , they don't put enough meat on the sub. I always tell the person behind the counter can you please load up the meat and toppins , and they say it's $1.25 for more stuff on a 6 inch sub , and $2.25 for a foot long. Bunch of crap god i hate them soooooooooooooooo much. i haven't been to a subway in years. Give me Quizno's any day they know how to take care of you.

When you tell them to load it up , By god they reallly do it.

D'Angelo still makes the best CheeseSteak outside of Philly. No other place even comes close.

Chicken Parm subs from a few places around here(Northern Massachusetts) are amazing.

I just like Quizno's better because they put more toppings etc. on their subs.
