I could watch Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi all day.

I'll have to dig up the youtube video of Messi's run from last season, when it gets paired with Maradona's from 20 years ago.....just a brilliant display.

Henry, Christiano Ronaldo, Rooney, and for some reason Kaka (don't ask me why)

I like Thierry Henry, Reinaldinho (sp?). Is Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal? If so, him to, I can never remeber his name

I watched a few football matches when I was in England a few years ago. Henry at Arsenal was good. Rooney is a big cry baby...

Shevchenko is pretty good too and same with Ibrahamovic

Sheva's made noise about wanting to come to America....there's not enough room for him in the Chelsea XI.

He'd be a nice fit as the face of Philly's entry in a couple seasons..... wink.gif

Ronaldinho hands down.. The guy has mad skills one-on-one with the ball. His passing is flawless and his ball crossing is right on the money. I don't think I've ever seen a better player take a penalty shot from 20-30 yards out like he can.

Messi and C. Ronaldo....but i really love Roberto Carlos.......the guy is brazilian and was in real madrid for 11 years while beckam was there, and he was a better player than him and took free kicks better than him too.......he had quads like i've never seen ona human before, he crushed the ball everytime.....brazilian country strong.........watch this:

Are we talking about favorite, or best?

Cuz if we're talking best, my XI for 08/09 (based on whom I've actually seen play) is looking like:

G: Julio Cesar, Inter Milan
D: Jose Bosingwa, Chelsea
D: Daniel Alves, Barcelona
D: Carles Puyol, Barcelona
D: Philipp Lahm, Bayern Munich
M: Frank Lampard, Chelsea
M: Xavi, Barcelona
M: Kaka, AC Milan
M: Cristiano Ronaldo, Man United
F: Samuel Eto'o, Barcelona
F: Mauro Zarate, Lazio

Okay, after watching Barcelona-Real today, I'm changing my Goalkeeper choice:

Iker Casillas, c'mon down!
cdg02001
Personal favorite: Edwin van der Sar.

Love Holland.
