I got to see him Pitch yesterday. He looked pretty good..I took a couple videos of him warming up on my cell phone cant really tell anything but during the game he was good. But it doesnt look like he will be able to get back to the tigers!

I know Chad Durbin has pitched well for the Tigers, but Miller is a better pitcher and appears major-league ready, certainly after what he did to the Cardinals in his debut. And with the way Nate Robertson has pitched lately, Miller might be better than him, too. Of course, I'm a little biased since I have him in my minors and could really use him in my rotation!

As a Tiger fan, I really don't want to see him up quite yet. I think it's pretty clear he has the stuff to pitch in the majors, but he might as well refine his pitches and pitch the lighter work load in the minors. He isn't even a year out of college, so I don't think there is any hurry to have him on the big league team. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some spot starts when injuries arise, but with Rogers coming back in the not too distant future I'd imagine Miller won't be in the full time rotation until next season.

But you do think he'll be in the full-time rotation next season, meaning he'd be worth keeping?

LOL. I think he will be good though. I say he will be backl up again at some point but it will have to be before Roges cmaes back and another injury to starter. I still find it laughable that this guy was paased up by a half dozen teams in the draft. What were teh Royals for instance thinking? No wonder why they never freakin win.

signability issues. he was the obvious #1 on talent alone.
he's a no brainer keeper and i think he'll be in the rotation next spring

The Royals felt Hochevar was the best player on the board and his minor league stats haven't been bad at all. I was thrilled to see Miller drop to the Tigers. I think part of the reason also had to do with the rumors of what he was going to be asking for contract wise(although the Royals said it had nothing to do with their decision). Lincecum went 10th so from the early looks of things, there were some teams that screwed that one up too.

45K's to 19BB's in 64 innings is hardly dominant....his positive factors are the fact that he pitches for a great team in a great park......but i didnt even have him in my top 5 coming into this year......more of an ADAM Miller fan....

andrew's not blowing people away like adam but i think he could be just as effective. since being promoted to AA hes only given up 2 earned runs in 25 innings. hes getting a TON of groundball outs. through 10 minor league starts this yr hes got a GO/AO ratio of 4.70. thats what you call an extreme groundball pitcher.

Adams not even really blowing people away (39K's in 44Inn)....

i too like adam miller over andrew miller...but neither are bad keeper options...

I have both Millers and they are both better than Hochevar. Andrew had all sorts of stuff in his contract that was not happening in KC including the fact that he had to be put on the MLB roster at the end of the season last year.

Guys, minor league pitchers are not down their to try to build up Hall of Fame stats. They are down there to work on their mechanics or developing pitches. Take stats with a grain of salt. Andrew Miller will be a dominate pitcher....throw the stats out the window...he is doing everything and more that has been asked of him

Signability factor is just a teams excuse for being losers. Ok, I don't have Jerod Weavers stats in front of me, but he sank low in the first round. LAA got a bargin. To pass on a BASEBALL player for that issue is ridiculous. Regardless, Andrew Miller was the #1 rated player in the draft by most experts. KC can tell you the other guy was rated higher and that is BS. They were cheap. Look at football...The Texans passed on Reggie Bush. DO you think their pick signed for what he was, was a better bargin than what Reggie Bush signed for? No he wasn't. It was being boneheaded.....you get the first pick...make something of it. More proof KC has no business in the MLB.

i need to watch Miller pitcher before i make any more comments on him....all i have seen so far are stats, and they have been hardly dominant.....he very well may become a great pitcher, and perhaps you have watched him in person etc to make that kind of a predicition...
