What do you guys think the odds are the J-Rich repeats the year he had last year under Larry Brown? I know Brown wants him to drive to the basket more this year, but you you think 200+ 3's is realistic?

Code of Hammurabi
his best season before last season with regards to threes was 2.4 made per game (196). Thats the best he can do under larry brown. So I vote under 200 threes

Agree. Under.

he will average 2.3 3pms a game or so, which is more in line with where he was prior to last season. larry brown has been very specific about what he wants. think about what he turned rip hamilton into in detroit. not a 3point shooter. that's bad for richardson's value. in the good news category, LB wants to have richardson focus on D, which might increase his steals. he averaged 1.9 steals per game after the all star break last year, and if that goes up, it's elite status. the other good thing is that LB wants richardson to drive more and get to the free throw line more (again, think rip). if that happens, richardson's ft% will probably rise, because the more FTs he shoots, the higher his average goes, historically. if he can get to 80%+, that helps his overall value a lot.

I can't see it possibly rising that much. I do not want Jason Richardson going to the line at all.

i totally agree. richardson at the line is scary, staying at the 75% from last year would be amazing.
