  1. Or the he was drafted in Yahoo public leagues and is just sitting on dead rosters...
  2. Give up a flare. Sacrifice. Walk. Then bounce back with this sequence. Solid.
  3. Can we create a manager thread so you all can argue there and we can back to actual updates about relievers in here? Not trying to be snarky, as many good points are being made in here... But over the last three pages there is mostly discussion about Bell, not the actual relievers.
  4. Now with a 5 game hit streak... 10/22 7R 1HR 5RBI 4SB Game looks like it is slowing down for him a little.
  5. Two clean innings with 2k's doesn't hurt either. Including tonight, last 4 appearances have yielded 4.2 innings with 0er 1h 1bb 7k. If you believe that the Rangers want to move back to Leclerc, this is the first realistic opportunity...
  6. Strop with a clean save. Now we speculate if he just has the job back for good? Did he just keep them from signing Kimbrel? ;-)
  7. Cishek with the 8th... Anyone know if Strop warming for the 9th?
  8. In 2017 he gave up 2HR once and never 3. In 2018 he never gave up more than 1. Guess we have different definitions of "very prone".
  9. Tim Fraizer - PG -NO As has been discussed in his thread, not sure the talent warrants, but in the next few weeks, the opportunity does. We get one more game today to see if the numbers will hold, and then Pelicans play Mon/Wed/Fri. Kick him to the curb and stream the weekend if needed.
  10. Yeah, I have only seen highlights and not a game in flow yet... If a 3pt a game is a reality, and enough of the offense moves through him that he can average 4+ assists, he suddenly becomes very interesting. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want to figure out how to watch that game tomorrow and see him live.
  11. This looks like a pretty solid comp - though maybe with 2 or 3 pts and a .5 3pt more than Anderson, but maybe a little less in the Stocks department? Upside does seem higher though as Atlanta has no reason not to play the youngsters.
  12. I enjoy when people like you bring trolling to our community. Keep wasting our time. But back to Shai. I'm looking forward to this Suns/Kings back to back on Wed/Thurs. Just feel like with the pace of play maybe Shai has a good couple days.
  13. Bummer. Must be hard to excel in fantasy with poor eyesight. I assume in 2018 their are braille alternatives where you, like any of us, could google a player and see what stats they have been accumulating. From there, you then extrapolate whether their situation is improving and if you think those stats will get better. Also, there is a little "prev" button right below my post where you can read, almost literally, what he has "offered" in every game this year.
  14. That is fair. For most, he's just chillin on our bench serving as that proverbial lotto ticket. I think a lot will actually have to do with who the Warriors sign after buyout season. Not IF Boogie plays, but how much. Obviously he wants to audition for a max, but I'm not sure that anything above 22-24 minutes a game is required for him to accomplish this goal or for the Warriors to get what they need out of him. However, the disappearing act of Damian Jones adds more intrigue into the whole situation. But Jordan Bell finally got some excellent run last night. So who knows that Kerr and the rest fo the coaching staff are/will be thinking. Not so much as a Warriors fan, but just as a fan of the NBA, I really do hope that he can come back at full health. The game is more fun when he's running around being crazy.
  15. 100% agree. Especially with an Achilles on a 7 footer. But as this is a fantasy basketball forum, getting snippets of information and speculating on when an All-Star will return, is literally why we are here.
  16. Agreed. Obviously we don't get to see him run in the last, but he is MUCH less ginger on that Achilles than he is in the earlier videos. Even moving laterally nicely on the early corner threes. I live in the Bay, and for all the drama going on right now, it is amazing what high marks Boogie is getting for being a positive influence in the whole situation. Nothing like being around Draymond to make you seem like the emotionally centered one.
  17. Gotta be honest, if I had to bet right now, I would go with door number 3: Hirano. Pitched for the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball League and had 156 saves with a career 2.30 ERA. If I am Lovullo, some past experience and his excellent numbers on the year might make him the guy.
  18. Hirano's numbers look good and I know that he closed some in Japan... but are you hearing anything about him taking over? Most of what I see leans towards Zeigler or even Diekman. I think you may be right, just wondering if you have found some info I haven't?
  19. I think it is mix and match based on who is available on any given night between him and Robertson. Neither inspires a great deal of confidence right now imo as both have been just OK lately. Betances loaded the bases before getting out of it tonight. Robertson hasn't given up in run in August or September with 23 ks in 14.2 innings. Your confidence aside, and how the Yankees decide to use them, Robertson has been anything but just "OK" since the All-Star break. That being said, since the calendar has flipped to September, Bentances has gotten all the saves and been deployed in situations usually reserved for closer. As of their most recent post, Closermonkey still has as a committee, but has flipped Betances back to the "lead" in the pen for saves.
  20. Looks like we is flying to Toronto and expects to be activated and start Wednesday's game. https://www.masslive.com/redsox/index.ssf/2018/08/rafael_devers_injury_boston_re_4.html
