  1. This is 2019, not 1984. Assistant coaches are about to get days off for load management soon. In all seriousness though, I’ll take Charlotte limiting him to 28-32 mpg if that will keep him healthy for the last 6 weeks. Dude has been money so far. No one outside of the top 24 beasts for 82 games. Everyone has good and bad stretches for the season. For someone you (the general “you”, not you specifically) probably got at the end of a draft or for free off waivers, he’s killing it. I highly doubt there are players that are available on waivers that are better than him if the league is competitive even slightly.
  2. I said this last year about Levert but his game is just not fantasy friendly. People were really pissed on the forums when I said he wasn’t going to be a top 50 player. He MIGHT be able to be a top 50 player one day if you have a punt ft and to build, but that’s highly unlikely. Even this year when he was avging 19, 5, 5 (rough estimates), he was BARELY top 100 when punting ft’s AND to’s. I got offered Gallo for Levert and declined it, stupidly, because I’m a fan of his game in real life. I also play 2 week playoff matchups in each round and the Nets have one of the best playoff schedules in that format. I really wish I would have made that trade in hindsight, and not even because Levert got hurt. I held him throughout his injury last year and am doing so again this year. Unsurprisingly, my team became way better last year after I started streaming his roster spot while he was on my IR. My team will probably be a lot better this year too with his spot being streamed. His avg/decent contributions in points and his out of position assists aren’t nearly enough to make up for everything he kills you in. Having Kyrie and Spence on the team doesn’t really do him any favors either.
  3. This is snapple cap facts right here. He’s been on the championship team 2 years in a row in my 14 team league, including my team last year, and was drafted at 11 this year. I would have taken him at 5 this year if I didn’t have first pick. He’ll finish super strong, as usual, and if you have any type of jokic team building strategy, he’s super easy to build around imo. Is this a lot of peoples first year playing fantasy? If it is, I completely understand the frustration. When he starts getting 4 triple doubles in 6 games and missing a triple double by 2 assists in the other 2 games, your teams will be crushing it.
  4. Jokic does this slow start schtick literally every single year... he’ll be fine.
  5. I wouldn’t call Levert a stud by any means. He’s barely top 100, if that, when punting BOTH categories.
  6. I feel like Clarke, even in 22 mpg is the best player in this deal. The problem is, Josh Hart could fall off. With that being said, I think Hart should be fine in his 6th man role. I would probably keep Clarke and Hart.
  7. I was offered Gallo for Levert in my 16 team league. We have 2 weeks for our playoff matchups that start the week after the asb. Gallo has a 7-6-7 schedule during that time while Levert has an 8-6-8. My team is pg: cp3, graham sg: richardson, levert, lee sf: richardson, levert, troy brown pf: pj washington, bobby portis Center: KAT, BAM, rotating roster spot (Plumlee for his back to back) As of right now, my team is essentially a punt TO and punt FT build since only KAT and CP3 are good ft shooters. I’m thinking that trading levert will give me a needed boost in 3’s, while also mitigating TO’s and ft% since Gallo is a great 3 point shooter with a sky high ft% and low to’s. The only problem is that playoff schedule. Do i jump on this? Gallo and Levert aren’t that far off in the bbm ranks for punt TO and Ft% but Gallo is ranked top 40 without any punt filters. Last I checked, Levert isn’t ranked in the top 150 without punt filters.
  8. Not convinced that he starts over Miles, only because Brooks is the coach.
  9. I don’t see Charlotte giving up on Rozier, but Terry is clearly not very good. I scooped Graham but will be prepared to drop him in a week if he starts getting limited minutes. That game 1 was super impressive but there’s no way his shooting %’s stick.
  10. He didn’t pan out for me last year (held him all through his injury and two weeks after he came back before cutting him) but I would take the gamble again this year in the 90-100 range. Too much upside, but the floor is definitely low with his percentages.
  11. Amazing reference I’m on the Zizic bandwagon but am still worried because Larry Drew is the coach... anyone else feel this way?
  12. That’s fair, though I don’t think the shot about losing in fantasy was needed. I don’t believe I’m the person ignoring context when yall are not including 2 games, one of which was a blowout vs gsw where he hurt his knee after playing 20 mins and likely wouldnt have played more than 20 mins anyway due to the blowout. I did edit my post to reflect that he was top 50 if you don’t look at his last 2 games though. Regardless, that ranking convo went longer than expected. Do people have confidence in him getting back anywhere near where he was pre-injury? I expect him to need at least 2-4 weeks just to get his confidence back and be mentally strong enough to push off on that ankle with being scared of getting hurt. At that point I would gladly settle for him being top 80 ROS. I’m holding him on IR while having other injured players so I’m confident in his ability to produce.
