  1. This year with RISP: .198 AVG and .308 wOBA Career with RISP: .287 AVG and .379 wOBA Question is whether this is just bad luck or an effect of how he’s getting pitched with the lineup around him.
  2. “David is in a good spot. The reports back are that he’s moving great,” Black said. “It’ll be good to get him back in the minor leagues, get him some at bats and get him down there to keep getting repetitions that he needs…he needs to play and produce and put up some minor league numbers. Like all our minor league players, we’ll keep an eye on him.”
  4. Seems obvious given his recent usage, but he wont be Betances from years back EDIT: and I cant figure out how to embed tweets
  5. His stock has shot up over the last week...although we don’t really know whether he will truly be the “closer”, or if he has just been the de facto closer since their bullpen is trash. This guy was always groomed as a starter and has been thrown straight into the fire as a rookie reliever. He’s been brilliant in a small sample. But I think back to that Kapler quote from a Brewers game where Seranthony entered in the 7th, saying “We want to look for the highest-leverage situations to use Seranthony” Neshek is back, so will be interesting to see whether he gets in the mix. Maybe the Phils trade for a 9th inning pitcher as well. They’re in a playoff hunt, so they’ll obviously have to be careful with Seranthonys usage. It just seems the Phillies had planned for him to be more Hader and less Knebel. Both have fantasy value, but obviously different.
  6. 10-team, NL only, 5x5 (OBP) Keeper league. Prices go up $5 each year. I’m in first place, looking to shore up my position. SBs are my biggest need. Then, teams are tightly grouped in HR/RBI/W. I have a nice lead in ERA / WHIP / OBP / R. I’m playing 3 closers ($6 Knebel, $6 Vazquez, $4 Seranthony). Giving up 3 keepers at great value ($16 Nola, $6 Cesar, $4 Seranthony) for $28 Greinke, $14 Baez, $28 Cain. I would keep $19 Baez, and maybe Cain (think $33 will be market value). I don’t like the idea of buying high on Baez or giving up a cheap closer, but this trade checks the boxes for me on this season (assuming Baez keeps hitting). What do you think?
  7. Sounds like hes not going anywhere anytime soon. Im dropping.
