  1. As a Giants fan I would say that if Sterling does play (big if), he will certainly take some targets away from Slayton. Still doesn't mean Slayton might not score on his 2-4 catches.
  2. Giants fan. Very excited for Tate to be back. You could see some of the early connection between Jones and Tate in the preseason. Quick slants all day and throwing Golden on the run, expecting big things out of Golden with Daniel Jones.
  3. Surprised no discussion regarding Gore. Had 19 carries for 68 yards with a TD, 2 catches for 15 yards. Saw some increased workload with Devin Singletary getting banged up with a hamstring injury. Anyone biting?
  4. A bit better lately. .306 2 homers over last 14 days, 8 RBIs.
  5. Picked this guy up on July 1st in a 16 teamer, has truly been a godsend to my roto squad. On the year batting .291 with 16 HRs and 47 RBIs in 296 ABs. As a .270 career minor leaguer, are there signs that the breakout this year is for real?
  6. Brock Burke, Tony Gonsolin, Nick Solak, Jon Berti, Starlin Castro & Adrian Houser are some names in deeper leagues.
  7. Picking him up in a keeper, with steals like that there is certainly value with him.
  8. Injury status update? Throwing yet?
  9. ^That would stink for Voit owners. Back this week?
  10. Solid week for Berti for deeper leagues. .286 2 HRs and 2 Steals last 7 days
  11. Did take live batting practice this weekend.
  12. Was so bad in AAA earlier this year that he got sent down to AA, where he has proceeded to been lights out. 5-3, 2.19ERA, 85 Ks in 78 innings, 1.03 WHIP and .218 avg against Certainly looks to be in line for a September call up.
  13. Diaz did bat leadoff today. 5 for last 25 over last week. Anybody still starting in deeper leagues?
  14. Tauchman has been on fire lately. Last 11 games, .444 16 hits 8 RBIs 13 runs.
  15. Solid enough start so far, 8/23 .319 1 HR 3 RBIs 1 SB and 9 runs. Anyone buying in deeper leagues?
  16. Back to the outlook lol.. Anybody taking a shot on him? Fairly impressive in AAA this year: .310, 7 HRs, 9 steals in 261 ABs, PCL of course
  17. https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/pirates/2019/07/12/Keone-Kela-AAA-rehab-games-jameson-taillon-optimistic-about-return-pittsburgh-pirates-pitchers/stories/201907120126 Article from yesterday. He's optimistic and feels like he is going to return this year in time to contribute. I'm just a little hesistant in keeping him and taking up a roster spot even in a 16 teamer. When he comes back, who knows just how great he'll be either.. It's not like he was spectacular this year.
  18. This mean he'll be up in the majors shortly? Worth a pickup in deeper leagues?
  19. What a stud he's been. .311, 9 homers 33 RBIs and 35 runs in just 190 at bats.
  20. Means somehow having a terrific season thus far for the O's. 69 Ks in 82 innings, 2.50 ERA, 1.077 ERA. How's he doing it?
  21. Very surprised to see not much fan fare for Kenta in this thread. Looking at possible trade targets for starting pitching and came across him, having a very solid year. 94 Ks in 95 innings, 3.76 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 7-5 record
  22. Did carry a no hitter Sunday vs the Giants into the 7th before giving up a solo shot to Longoria. Encouraging start even if it was against the Giants.
  23. Just picked him up, hoping for the best. Last 5 starts: 32 innings, 1.41 ERA, 0.71 WHIP, 18 Ks, 4th best ERA over the last 30 days
  24. Anything to see here for the former 2nd round pick? He was pulled after 6 innings of no hit ball today vs. the Rockies (71 pitches). Minors stats not really great whatsoever, had a 6.09 ERA in 54 PCL innings this year. In 3 MLB appearances 13 innings he has allowed 1 run with .071 average and 0.38 WHIP.
  25. Taking over Montas' spot in the rotation. Had a nice start vs. my woeful Cardinals to a tune of 6 innings, 4 hits, 1 walk, 5 Ks and 0 runs. Anybody buying in deeper leagues?
