  1. I’d like to see Tanner Scott get a chance.
  2. The Giants usually don’t sell, especially when they’re within striking distance.
  3. Minter doesn’t seem to get a whole lot of love, but he’s closing games for the Braves and he’s always been labeled a “closer of the future.”
  4. Barraclough’s been bad this month after a great month of June. I guess regression was to be expected with his peripherals.
  5. Aroldis Chapman is throwing about 96 mph today and can't throw a strike. Not sure if it's just a bad day or if it's related to knee problems he was having in the past.
  6. He’s basically been used this way all year. The Brewers were winning before, now they’re not. Also, Knebel being back is another high-leverage reliever which limits Hader’s innings per outing somewhat.
  7. If you take away one start at Kansas City, he has a 3.08 ERA this year. Not saying that’s his true talent level right now, but it’s interesting nonetheless.
  8. Barraclough’s back to being wild since the calendar turned to July.
  9. Robertson got the save for the Yankees.
  10. A lot of soft contact. Also, if you watched the game today on FS1, he basically lives on the edges of the strike zone. He just can’t make too many mistakes because his stuff isn’t dominant or anything, but he’s been commanding his pitches well.
  11. The Royals claimed Enny Romero off waivers today and their bullpen is so bad that I feel like he’ll end up getting some saves this year. Lefty who throws 98+.
  12. Not sure but watching the games the past two nights, it seems like Arizona wants Bradley to face the tougher part of the lineup.
