You keep saying Pax is hurt all the time but he hasnt missed a start all year. Yes he is "hurt" now but i watched the start, he looked a little stiff, did a little wiggle on the mound to stretch it out and they pulled him as a precautionary measure. As far as Marco goes, he is solid. Not gonna hold the @BOS and @NYY games against him. And despite the box score, he wasnt shelled @BOS but he did get knocked around against the Yanks, who hasnt though, Kluber just got shellacked last week. I totally agree with your main point though, the Ms need another solid arm.

Im not starting him either but he did handle @HOU and NYY already

Not to get way sidetracked but i think you may be underestimating defensive 3B in the league.

Could be but nothing is guaranteed. Look, this thread is hear for a reason, just 5 more saves may mean 2-3 more roto points. 10 more save could literally hand you the W. The struggle for saves is real.

Royals are currently sitting at 18 saves and are 3 games out from crossing the halfway point. Its not entirely out of the realm of possibility like you make it sound. It will more than likely be less since they lost Herrera but still, the opportunity will surely be there.

I think that all depends on how competitive your save situation is. I dont think he is that bad, yes he doesnt have the sexy K rate we all want but his GB rate approaching 62% is very solid. If he can limit the walks i think he could be serviceable.

Chances we see a Greene trade before the deadline? Tigers are currently 8 games back from Cleveland and a whole lot more than that behind Seattle for the wild card.

Just want to point out that since the beginning of May, Minter has allowed 3 walks in 17.1 innings with a K/9 ratio of 12.5. Those are great numbers, his 23 hits over that same time and the inability to limit the damage is however an issue.

looks like he gave up a couple hits too

Just a little something to chew on...small sample size incoming.... SF best hitters against LHP this year and their last (7 days) using wOBA Hundley .430 (.269) Williamson .400 (.239) Posey .377 (.263) Belt .370 (.342) McCutch .350 (.381) Gorky .317 (.312) Ajax .308 (.177)

I wouldnt be relying on those kind of stats, especially with that small of a sample size. Those numbers have more to do with the quality of the arm they have faced vs what they can do against those arms. Further, if they can hit lefties well, they should be able to hit em just as good on the road.

For them to have completely fallen apart in the third like that and then scratch their way back...just unreal. props to Whalen for shutting em down for 4 innings. Yet another awesome game.

I think he/she is talking about actual teams, not fake ones.
