  1. Ya I wont call him a bomber but even if he makes just about one 3/gm I'll be happy with his do it all stats. The assists will be one of the critical stats because honestly, after watching him, I cant tell if he is a "lucky 1-3 as/g" type or "solid 3-4/gm" type. In fact to me his whole game has no identity... he's not a defender quite like Kawhi, he's not really a shot blocker, but he has the potential top stay top 50 or so. The way my team is setup, I kinda need assist but otherwise his just being solid is totally fine with me if he can maintain those %.... that FT % is a huge bonus if thats for real. Up and down on some stats, but I think its way too early to determine what this guy will do... IMO he is approaching that age of breakout/big improvement/figuring out how to play in the NBA time, and I wont be surprised if the numbers keep trending up and he is a top 50 mainstay. Funny comparison... looks great but I am sure you can do this all day with a youngin and vet... not sure if they actually do amount to anything but we'll see... if he turns out to be another Kawhi, thats gonna be some good $$$ for me the next 2 years in this keeper league.
  2. #48 in 10 team 9cat-roto..... pretty happy, someone made fun of me for him... We'll see who's laughing in April. Then again Simmons and Russell went right after so its gonna be pretty close, but I think Simmons will be closer to VO value than Russell.
  3. Picked him up for TJ Warren (Phoenix, ugh)...... When you watch HJ he seems like a quality player... there are many NBA starters that are worse offensively, and he can actually play D, so not sure why they cant put him out there at least 28-30+.... the percentages are also good..... we'll see, maybe he'll earn it and hopefully he's in good physical shape.
  4. Yup, this... just dropped Donovan Mitchell for him, a bit painful because DM seems like a BC but hey, we dont know his playing time and as for Brown, whether he played 40 or 30 today, the guy who was keeping him from playing 35+ is now out, so I was frankly surprised he was still available in my league, but hey, I may just think about reselling to Gordon's owner LOL, that'll be fun since usually he always tries to rape me on deals, see what he does now. He aint Chris Mullen but I wouldnt say his jumper is "broken"... if he hits 3's, steals, and points with some added blocks here and there, for a FAP, not sure anyone can complain. Have you watched him? He is pretty boss in a few area, including D, strength to the rim, and threes.
  5. And he points to his head because he's smart.... LOL JK He better produce for me
  6. Ok so we know who he is... the question is if you are NOT punting FT%... well I was able to come into the money while punting FT and traded for Drummond as well so that was a sweet deal and it worked out a bit, but would never actually win 1st place. So lets say you have a very strong FT team, then you could prob absorb him and use him in the 6-7 rd for the usual awesome stats of his. But what is you have an avg/weak FT? Then he will actually hurt you a lot, will be close to punting if he keeps his FT volume up. However, what if he falls to late 7, 8 - 9? Still no? Might be able to use him as trad bait in a month or so? How about some creative ways you guys used this unique player, and also if he is clearly above Drummond, who I think is up for a slight bounce back, so I think they are pretty much identical, with Drummond's lower FT% and lower FTA.
  7. I'd go more for this.... since people ahead of me just pretty much took every freakin PG available, I'll have to take dipo over wildcards like Russell, Simmons, and Ball... I am only negative bec I need FT% and AST which dipo aint great but value is value in the late 5th.
  8. This... I took him #33 in Yahoo 9 cat keeper.. I needed one more good big man vs assists, and I took him basically over Rubio, Teague, Deandre and Drummond. Tough choice but I guess this will be the make or break for my season. I feel Nurkic has better chance to do shoot higher % FT than Deandre/Drummond, and I just didnt like those two PG at this pick. He lost 35 pounds. He said he's feeling great and good to go, and $$$ to come. He is their 3rd option and played like it last year. cant compare to Denver times.... feel sorry for the guy below's comments but those days in Denver are LONG past, and much like an NFL RB, nothing like NBA players to change teams and gain a new playing life they never thought possible.
  9. I got him as my 9th round keeper, I think thats a great deal although his actual rankings last year in Yahoo 9 cat was in the 80's, he was injured a lot and hoping if he stays mostly healthy, he will be at least top 70... dont think he is really known as injury prone, yet.
  10. Relax guys, this is just fantasy and he is coming back January, and he'll be 90%. He'll start slow and heat up for the last couple months. Prob Rd 7+ or so if you need his kinda stats. If you dont, I'm sure u can figure it out.
  11. 10 All worthless.... I respond and give great advice a couple of times a day, and I ask something and I get one lame response... price for dealing with humans.
