  8. Dustin Pedroia 2018 Outlook

Wed, Jun 20 Dustin Pedroia (knee) is not close to beginning baseball activities. Advice: Pedroia was placed back on the disabled list on May 30, five days after returning from an offseason cartilage restoration procedure on his left knee. "It’s major surgery. He didn’t know what to expect," Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Tuesday. "So we are where we are now. We’re hoping that, yeah, he’ll be back. When? We don’t know. I still believe that he’s going to contribute this season and he’s going to help us to win." More: Boston Globe (Rotoworld.com)
  9. Roberto Osuna 2018 Outlook

Mon, Jun 18 Roberto Osuna's first court date in connection with his sexual assault charge will be "a largely procedural hearing" and the Blue Jays closer will not attend it, per Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca. Advice: That hearing is scheduled for Monday afternoon at the Old City Hall courthouse in Toronto. Criminal defense lawyer Domenic Basile will appear on Osuna's behalf for pre-trial discussions that "will set the stage for the next court hearing, possibly in two or three weeks," writes Davidi. Osuna has been on Major League Baseball's administrative leave list since his arrest May 8 for allegedly assaulting a woman. A resolution to this case is clearly not imminent. 10. David Fletcher 2018 Outlook

Hard to see him getting full playing time. They are paying Kinsler and Cozart to play and not ride the bench, no matter how bad their struggling.. Fletcher will be a more of a platoon guy. He needs a injury to happen.
  11. David Fletcher

    2-3 in Debut single triple
  12. David Fletcher 2018 Outlook

Angels recalled INF David Fletcher from Triple-A Salt Lake. Advice: Fletcher has posted a stellar .350/.394/.559 batting line with six home runs and seven stolen bases in 58 games this season at the Triple-A level while appearing defensively all over the infield. He could have some appeal in AL-only fantasy leagues and maybe some deeper mixed formats if he's able to find a regular role with the Angels. Fletcher figures to start at third base against lefties and might also see some action at second base. If he shows well out of the gate, his playing time will increase.

  15. Hunter Pence 2018 Outlook

Fri, Jun 1 Craig Mish of SiriusXM reports that Hunter Pence (thumb) will not be activated from the disabled list Friday. Advice: Mish says that Pence is headed back to San Francisco to join the Giants but won't be activated just yet. It's not clear when he might officially return, but he's looking at a reduced role when he does with Mac Williamson taking over as the Giants' regular left fielder. More: Craig Mish on Twitter
