  1. Please see the link below to find the league home page! http://games.espn.com/ffl/leagueoffice?leagueId=38566&seasonId=2018
  2. Our league Trade Winds Football is a 20 team dynasty league in its 8th year and we are looking for 2 new owners. The league has pretty standard settings, is non-ppr, free to join, and includes IDP positions. Our offline rookie draft starts August 11th so we are hoping to fill the needed teams before this date! We're a chat active league (using Discord & Xat chat) and would like an owner who can be chat active! If interested, please see the link below that will take you to the league home page. The 2 teams that are available are the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. Please leave your email below and I will be in contact with you as soon as I can!
  3. Wander Franco, SS, TB

Reminds me of the Vlad Jr. post I made a few years back...still going stong lol
  4. Francisco Mejia - C CLE

Glad to see this guy go to an org. that won't mess with him. I don't know if he will be a C forever but why not give him a chance to produce?
  5. Mid Season Prospect Rankings Watch

Razzball will be releasing their top 400 over the break I believe.
  6. Sean Newcomb 2018 Outlook

Another rough outing. Holding out hope though. Between what he was doing early on and what he's doing now I'm sure he'll settle down
  7. Francisco Mejia 2018 Outlook

Mejia hasn't been transitioning to the outfield as well as Cleveland has hoped, Chris Assenheimer of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Spin: The Indians have been working to make Mejia an outfielder as the team has more of a need there than behind the plate, but Mejia hasn't progressed much, apparently because he still views himself as a catcher. Still, once the Indians feel satisfied with him defensively in the outfield, he could earn a promotion and regular playing time with Lonnie Chisenhall (calf) facing an extended absence. The 22-year-old is hitting .279/.327/.435 for Triple-A Columbus this season. I really wish they weren''t trying to make him an OF. Seems like it could only do more harm than good.
  8. MLB Futures Game Rosters

You guys see any surprises on the roster?
  9. Buy Low/Sell High 2018

I'd try buying low on Ozuna. He's changed his swing - specifically his leg kick - since last year and I think it's causing him issues with his timing. If you think he can fix these issues I'd definitely try to get him
  10. Freddy Tarnok - SP ATL

One of many starting pitchers being developed in Atlanta's system, Tarnok was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2017 draft as a two-way player. He had a decent ceiling both hitting and pitching, but now that he's focusing solely on pitching he's really looking like something special. With a fastball that sits in the the 90s - touching 98 at times with a projectable frame, I only can see things going up for him. He currently works with a 95+ Fastball, Power Curve, and a Changeup that could use some work. So far this season in A Rome, his stat line looks pretty impressive: ERA: 2.17 IP: 37.1 K: 50 SO/9: 12.05 B: 26 BB/9: 10.52 AVG: .194 WHIP: 1.42 He may be further away from the majors and come with some risks, but I think the talent and upside Tarnok posses is very real.
  11. Marcell Ozuna 2018 Outlook

If anyone watched the Cardinal's game on 7/4, the broadcasters did a pretty interesting analysis of Ozuna's swing. It looks as though that the main element that's changed is his leg kick. He always had a little "lift and drag" motion with his lead leg, though this year he's added a pretty substantial leg kick to go along with this previous motion. I think this is making it harder for him to time his swings, which might be causing his issues. I think he'll figure it all out personally, so if you can buy low on this guy definitely go for it.
  12. Kole Calhoun 2018 Outlook

Looks like the tweaks are still working after another HR today. I think he'll come out hot in the 2nd half but we'll see
  13. Junior Guerra 2018 Outlook

After another great start yesterday can we say that Guerra is worth holding onto instead of selling high?
  14. Sean Newcomb 2018 Outlook

Rough stat-line tonight. 2.2IP 5 ER 5BB 2Ks. The regression has come, though I still really like him.
