  1. 10/4 - GAME DAY THREAD

Folty has been awful. You can thank me for using him on FanDuel tonight if you’re a braves fan
  2. Gary Sanchez 2018 Outlook

I steamrolled my league during his absence and didn’t start anyone at C due to my rostering. He came back and his at bats were instantly noticed in my lines and matchups. I’m not sure if you’re trolling me or not. Sanchez on my team this season was a disaster and I just checked in to see he’s hitting a robust .158 for the last 7 days with the dinger and a few steaks. no thanks
  3. Gary Sanchez 2018 Outlook

Cabrera played through injuries all the time for Detroit and when his numbers suffered he got called fat and a lot of other ridiculous stuff. Sanchez is young, he had a rough year. Injuries were part of it but his sample size and 2018 season does not indicate what you would want as an early-mid round pick. I’m staying far away. Mendoza line, he’s well below it
  4. Gary Sanchez 2018 Outlook

Thanks for nothing, Gary. Could have used the production last week
  5. Walker Buehler 2018 Outlook

I watched his start. It was a weird one in that he was dominant but between himself and the defenders behind him allowed the runners that scored. He was efficient and electrifying. He rung up number 12 to finish the 6th and at that point he seemed very settled in and showed a lot of emotion. He battled hard in the innings he got knocked around but came back with a fine performance. I own him in a non keeper and he is going to be a target for me in my return to the keeper I usually play in. He’s like a righty Kershaw but throws his heat at 98 rather than 93-94. Disgusting!
  6. James Paxton 2018 Outlook

Which sadly is the reason not to cut bait on the guy. But if you take/keep him in 2019 you’re asking for it. So most managers make the smart play and the guy that doesn’t pay attention to the league will own him next year ‘if’ he puts it together. Huge if at this point.
  7. James Paxton 2018 Outlook

Came to this thread for the comments after yahoo sent me the DTD notification. When you’re sick you’re sick but my goodness this guy is missing starts left and right for ailments that any grown man would go to work for and give the effort even if not their best. This guy just calls in. Brutal.
  8. Whit Merrifield 2018 Outlook

This guy is literally carrying teams to league titles right now. An absolute machine rolling on all cylinders right now.
  9. 2018 Celebration Thread- Victory is Mine!

2 seed in one league after holding 1st most of the season. Really ranked at the end when Trout hit the DL. Off this week. Team is finally healthy too minus Chapman. 1 seed in other league. Also on a bye this week. Team is rolling.
  10. Eduardo Rodriguez 2018 Outlook

How are we feeling about his start today? I was able to add him. Haven’t paid attention to him all year.
  11. Michael Kopech 2018 Outlook

This is the real prize of owning him. He'll be pitching in essentially the worst Division in baseball besides CLE of course.
  12. Madison Bumgarner 2018 Outlook

It's disappointing to see my team throw 14 innings with a 3.86 ERA. I saw a win and scrolled down to see who did what... I was busy all day yesterday. Spot started Joe Musgrove against the Cubs. I expected that Musgrove was hit hard. Nope. Bumgarner @ Great American on a hot summer night was the recipe for disaster.
  13. Johnny Cueto 2018 Outlook

Starting with confidence. He’s a waiver add from a guy way too impatient to endure the extended DL process of an injury. I have nothing to lose and because his manager (me) says so, he’s ready. In all seriousness I’ll take and hope for a QS. This isn’t some young guy enduring the process of rehab starts and getting beaten around trying to figure it out. He’s a proven commodity and should be used in that way.
  14. Paul Goldschmidt 2018 Outlook

Is this real life? or is this just fantasy?
  15. Miguel Cabrera 2018 Outlook

I knew it when I watched it live. The home announcers and all who’ve watched him throughout his time in Detroit. You knew it was bad the way he reacted and immediately went to the clubhouse. Makes me sick and he was just a bonus to have him on my team. He was a nice value pick where I got him and being a Tigers fan made it even easier. It just sucks. End of an era. 5 years ago his at bats were like what I’d envision watching Mozart. The dude just knows his craft and was naturally gifted. Sad fall from grace. Sad to see the body break down on someone. Especially a player like him who just loves the game. You can see how much he has when he messes around with guys on first next to him when they get on base. He talks to them, he laughs, he has fun. You don’t see that candid enjoyment much anymore. The jokes about going back to drinking for him are really insensitive in my opinion.
