  1. Shane Bieber 2018 Outlook

Frankly, I'm not even sure why he was out there so long... Through 5IP he had only given up 5 hits and 0ER. As usual, he was very efficient with his pitches however Tito HAS to know by now Bieber has TTOP. With expanded rosters, I don't see much benefit to letting him get in so much trouble. Double digit lead in the devision aside, I think it would've been more constructive to take him out after 5 great innings vs not getting through the 6th with 4ER and his team trailing.
  2. 8/28 - GAME DAY THREAD

Gibson having the perfect combination of wild and getting squeezed tonight.
  3. 8/28 - GAME DAY THREAD

Sano cuts off a strike from center field on a sac fly but can't hang onto the ball to get the runner at second. Both runners safe. What a dunce. Send him back down for a couple days.
  4. Tyler White 2018 Outlook

This is the same guy that said Osuna would be getting the majority of save opps and then the next one went to Rondon? He expects Yuli to get a majority of available ABs, but lets not forget White will also take Gattis out of the lineup at DH at times as well.
  5. Aaron Judge 2018 Outlook

Just saw on MLB Network that Cashman is calling it a 6-7 week injury, instead of the 3-4 it was originally thought to be. That's 9/6 for 6 weeks.

Leclerc making trouble for himself with a leadoff walk and a wild pitch to move him to 3rd with 0 outs. EDIT: I should clarify. He's having a lot of trouble commanding his slider.
  7. 8/22 - GAME DAY THREAD

Gibson really giving it to us today vs the White Sox. Ooomph. These "cupcake" matchups never seen to work out.
  8. Shane Bieber 2018 Outlook

He had given up only 2 hits and was extremely efficient through 6 innings. Third time through against the best offense in baseball, something had to give. For what it's worth BOS was sitting on off speed pitches and the guys that got him were Benni, X, and JD. I'll take the W and the sub 1.0 WHIP any day against this BOS team.
  9. Greg Allen 2018 Outlook

He's arguably had the best on field performance through the first two games of the series against BOS. Some really great plays in CF, go ahead HR on Monday, 2 hits and a RBI yesterday, and oh by the way 14 game hit streak. Only thing that worries me is the rest of the CLE outfield getting healthy.
  10. 8/21 - GAME DAY THREAD

Bieber making me feel really good about this 2 start week all of a sudden.

You know who DID look great in that bullpen? Pressly.
  12. Waiver Wire - Streaming Options - Week 17

Deep leagues David Fletcher taking over at 2B after the Kinsler trade. Was already getting play at 3B, should have dual eligibility in a matter of time. Could help in OBP leagues and may contribute in BA as well.

  14. Luis Severino 2018 Outlook

I said as much in the gameday thread, but I thing it's fatigue and the reason you don't see any loss in velocity is that he's compensating by altering his release point. A change in release point would also be indicative of a delta to spin rate which directly correlates to late movement on the ball. Just my opinion having watched most of his starts this year and last. He's tired and it's beginning to be mentally fatiguing as well for his fantasy owners. He's young, he'll have to face adversity like this and learn how to adapt and react.
  15. 7/28 - GAME DAY THREAD

His release point is pretty inconsistent lately. He looks to be missing a lot when the ball doesnt leave his hand as high in his throwing motion. To me that means there's some fatigue and he's trying to overcompensate by holding the ball longer. He may just have to work through it. Wish he had had extended rest through the AS break.
