  1. Auction Draft Strategy Thread 2018-2019

What the hell are these prices
  2. Waiver Wire Season Savers 2018-2019

But Kyle Anderson and Garrett Temple are in?
  3. Auction Draft Strategy Thread 2018-2019

We had a 16 team auction draft yesterday and it was crazy. Took us around 3 hours. Centers like Bamba, Poeltl, Zeller were going for 10 or more because of scarcity of centers, Ayton went for 32. I am pretty much happy with my team, but would like to have an additional reliable big as well. Punting points, but got Beal because I really think he´s going to have a great year and he was a "must have" at that price. . (1) Chris Paul (Hou - PG) $40 2. (41) Bradley Beal (Was - SG) $31 3. (48) Rudy Gobert (Uta - C) $40 4. (64) Otto Porter Jr. (Was - SF,PF) $26 5. (65) Robert Covington (Phi - SF,PF) $15 6. (78) Mike Conley (Mem - PG) $17 7. (104) Darren Collison (Ind - PG,SG) $9 8. (143) Marvin Williams (Cha - SF,PF) $4 9. (161) Bobby Portis (Chi - PF,C) $5 10. (177) Patrick Beverley (LAC - PG,SG) $3 11. (187) Jeremy Lamb (Cha - SG,SF) $3 12. (192) Pau Gasol (SA - PF,C) $2 13. (194) Josh Hart (LAL - SG,SF) $2
  4. What do you guys think about my team, it's a money league, I think that I am softly punting points? 1. (7) Kevin Durant (GS - SF,PF) 2. (22) Khris Middleton (Mil - SG,SF) 3. (35) Myles Turner (Ind - PF,C) 4. (50) Mike Conley (Mem - PG) 5. (63) Steven Adams (OKC - C) 6. (78) Darren Collison (Ind - PG,SG) 7. (91) Buddy Hield (Sac - SG) 8. (106) Danilo Gallinari (LAC - SF,PF) 9. (119) Al-Farouq Aminu (Por - SF,PF) 10. (134) Patrick Beverley (LAC - PG,SG) 11. (147) Marvin Williams (Cha - SF,PF) 12. (162) Spencer Dinwiddie (Bkn - PG) 13. (175) Harry Giles (Sac - PF,C)
  5. Kyle Lowry 2018-2019 Season Outlook

Why not, I like the conversation, I don't like the way you present your argument
  6. Kyle Lowry 2018-2019 Season Outlook

I hate when people compare teams this way. If it was like that, Kobe's Lakers with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown would have never made the playoffs, just like LeBron's Cavs with Larry Hughes and Eric Snow.
  7. Kyle Lowry 2018-2019 Season Outlook

Lol Celtics don't have a good starting center but Horford is an all star and could be the the most important player in their system
  8. Adebayo is better defensive player, that is, he's fitted better for today's basketball in that regards since he can switch to guard multiple positions, unlike Whiteside, who is most useful parked in the paint
  9. Jonas Valanciunas 2018-19 Season Outlook

When I was watching Croatia against Greece Giannis sucked big time and looked like a average player at best, I don't know what's your point. That was 2-3 years ago, Giannis played 20 minutes, finished with 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 fouls, 3 turnovers. Valanciunas is a good player but Gobert is a all time defensive center type of talent. I mean difference between them is as clear as it can be.
  10. Punting points strategy

I love this strategy, my go to one
  11. Kyrie/Wall or Lillard/Middleton

My vote goes to Lillard Middleton. Both Kyrie and Wall are injury prone
  12. 2018-2019 Breakout Candidates

I really can't see Saric breaking out, his lack of athleticism will always stand on the way, at least I see it that way. I've watched him couple of times when he was playing in the Europe or playing for the national team, and even on that level he doesn't stand out in terms of athleticism like NBA players tend to do. And Phila is Joel's and Simmons' team, both Saric and Sixers are fine with the role he currently has.
  13. Damian Lillard 2018-2019 Season Outlook

One of the most reliable players, you know what you are getting, a really durable never injured player who will be producing like he always does with occasional ourbursts.
  14. Yeah, people here act like RoCo is Wiggins and his only role is scoring the ball and if he doesn't do that, or cannot do that because of how many attacking options that team has he is useless. You take Roco because of his stocks and 3s, he'll score a couple of 3s more often than not, he'll be a great source of stocks, he'll have some games where he'll explode. He's really important for that team, a team that lacks shooters, and Roco is a great defender and a great shooter, and according to the comments here, will be underrated once again.
  15. Markelle Fultz 2018-19 Season Thread

Agree to disagree, that would mean you are playing with 3 starters who are not good shooters (Embiid, Simmons, Fultz). You cannot play that way today, especially not against top teams like Warriors or Rockets
