  1. The team is now 8-8 and closer to playoff contention. I took over the abandoned team last week as it was playing me (I was in first place at 12-3 before this team beat me, lol) and VOILA, a Braves victory. Like I said before, this team would easily be in the playoffs if it had a manager who actually managed the team. Still available, guide it to the playoffs!!!
  2. This is a link to our league, it is just a few spots away from your post, lol
  3. 14 Team, 5th year, ESPN, Head2Head, Points Dynasty League needs a replacement The team is the Charlotte Braves and the owner went AWOL over a month ago but I did not catch it as I was busy running 6 different offline football drafts. The team is currently 7-8 two games out of playoff contention but it was solidly in the playoff picture before the owner went on the lamb. There are a couple of different rules in the league. The only way to get a minor league player with no mlb experience is through our five round offline draft to start the year. You may pick up minor league players who had MLB experience before the year started at any time. You may pick up minor league players who get their first taste of mlb during the year only AFTER they have been put through our league wide waivers and they have been added to our waivers list. You may only start 7 SP a week if you start an 8th there is a substantial penalty (you lose the points of your highest scoring pitcher for the week and have a 10 point penalty). You may only use three RP on any day you may not get EXTRA RP by putting an RP/SP player into an SP slot. 4. sorry, the Patriots owner decided to play after all and I forgot to come back and post that the league was full. We are getting ready to start the draft.

Seattle Seahawks 10. New England Patriots 11. Dallas Cowboys 12. Houston Texans 13. Las Angeles Raiders 14. only one spot left
  8. Texans and Cowboys have been claimed 1. Chicago Bears 2. Atlanta Falcons - 3. Minnesota Vikings - 4. San Francisco 49ers - 5. Philadelphia Eagles - 6. Carolina Panthers - 7. Denver Broncos - 8. Pittsburgh Steelers 9. Seattle Seahawks 10. New England Patriots 11. Dallas Cowboys 12. Houston Texans 13. 14. Still two spots left open
  9. New England Patriots have now been selected: Chicago Bears Atlanta Falcons - Minnesota Vikings - San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles - Carolina Panthers - Denver Broncos - Pittsburgh Steelers Seattle Seahawks New England Patriots so far all owners have come from other leagues I run (well 1 is from a league I am just a member in) so I can vouch for all owners. Still four more spots open and lots of good teams left since most people seem to be taking their FAVORITE teams rather than the BEST teams
  10. Seattle Seahawks have now been chosen Chicago Bears Atlanta Falcons - Minnesota Vikings - San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles - Carolina Panthers - Denver Broncos - Pittsburgh Steelers Seattle Seahawks
  11. Pittsburgh Steelers have now been chosen Chicago Bears Atlanta Falcons - Minnesota Vikings - San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles - Carolina Panthers - Denver Broncos - Pittsburgh Steelers
  12. I sent out an email to a league I run a few hours ago and just recently to another league I am in and we have filled 7 spots. Please read the whole ad carefully to see if this league is a good fit. Chosen Franchises: Chicago Bears Atlanta Falcons - Minnesota Vikings - San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles - Carolina Panthers - Denver Broncos - I am tired of sabotaging all of my fantasy football teams by being a homer and have decided to start a Homer league. Hopefully it will be full of owners who also make a homer pick and choose their favorite team to manage. Each manager picks a franchise. From that franchise you must take the Head Coach, the Kicker and the D/ST – you must start those three EVERY game except for the bye week. For their bye week you may drop them and pick up a fill in (nobody else can ever claim the kicker, D/ST or Coach from an owned franchise except the owner). You also must select 7 players from that franchise (no rookies) giving you a total of 10 roster spots filled from your franchise. Every year you lose a 1st or a 2nd round pick in the draft which must be filled with a rookie from your franchise. If you elect to take a 1st round selection from your franchise you will lose a 1st round pick. If you take any player from AFTER the first round from your team you will lose a second round pick. This holds true for the first year also. Once your franchise is selected you need to post which rookie you are taking and whether or not you are missing your first or your second round pick. I am the Bears and am selecting Anthony Miller as my rookie – since he was not a first round selection I will lose my second round pick in this year’s draft. In the first year the draft will be a snake draft but every year after the first year there will be a standard, four round, offline draft which will be in inverse order of the regular season standings from the year before. The draft order in the first year will be random. The advantage of joining early is getting to select your favorite team. I am a diehard Bears fan and will be selecting the Bears which will not be good as my D/ST, HC and K will all suck and the Bears are a bottom dweller, but the fun of this league for me is that I get to manage my Bears and have a steady in flow of their players through the draft (either a first or second round pick every year). It would be great to win, but to me it is more important to get a chance to manage a majority of my favorite team’s best players and get to have first choice of any one of their drafted players every year. Maybe I will stop being such a Bears Homer in all of my other leagues if I get to run an almost complete Bears team here, lol. I am considering allowing the bottom four teams to lose their second round selection even if they keep a first round draft pick (or some other form of draft compensation to keep the league competitive). This league is NOT for slow drafters who cannot make offline picks in a timely manner. I run two other ESPN drafts and two Yahoo drafts every year and I will not give up weeks on end because people cannot be bothered to logon and make their pick when they have been emailed that they are up. If you are one of those people who uses as an excuse “I have a real life and cannot be available to make picks just because you want me to” please move on to another league as you are not a good fit here. The first year we have a 16 round draft to get through so we need to move fast. Pre-rank your players and be ready when it is your pick and make your selection. No excuses that you are not ready for your pick – BE READY. 13. Ten team league, at least 6 replacements (2 teams twice) in the last 5 weeks, come to your own conclusions.
