  1. Jacob Nottingham - C MIL

There winning though. And what usually happens is teams wait until next year to give the kid the full time shot. We all know the excuses: has to learn the staff and how to call games for each of them and blah blah blah. I think for him to stay on would require them to be struggling and him come in and all of a sudden the team takes off with him anchoring the staff and helping out alot with the bat.
  2. Peter Alonso 1b NYM

only 3? I agree they shouldn't bring him up, definitely not ready *kappa*
  3. Dakota Hudson STL SP

I doubt it. They recalled John Gant; not sure why since he struggles to make it past 4 innings. The bullpen is going to get demolished even more especially since we don't know what Carlos Martinez is going to do. Plus Gomber can make a start here and there. They should call Hudson up but what teams should do seems to always be what they don't do. They stick to the stubborn approach of this guy is next in line even if he sucks.
  4. Michael Kopech - P CHW

Expanding on this, is there a pitcher similar to Kopech that turned things around drastically either at AAA before getting promoted or even improved enough to get to the majors and got better at the MLB level? It would be nice to see that there is hope if there is an Ace in MLB that went through this.
  5. Frankie Montas 2018 Outlook

3 solid starts and did what he should have done. Arizona is struggling and KC is horrid. I wish I picked him up but a bigger sample size is needed to see if he is legit dominant.
  6. Randal Grichuk 2018 Outlook

His power is legit, but he always seemed to come back on fire from demotion or injury when he was in St. Louis. Just watch a 3 for 30 with 15Ks is coming...
  7. Jonathan Schoop 2018 Outlook

This was last season for me. My team wasn't good enough for Schoop to heat up, but I'm sure the other manager had a major feelsbadman the rest of the season. I'll drop Schoop when Dejong gets back or if a guy like Hiura gets called up. I'm going to start avoiding these these no walk rate guys. When they don't hit they kill every category.
  8. ESPN adds 200 minor leaguers to leagues

Almost my entire league slept on Bichette and Whitley except for one guy and he got them both on waivers. I was checking out our league page and saw them added in transactions and was like WTF! I need Hiura asap.
  9. Shane Bieber- SP CLE

What format? ESPN? If he's not on ESPN yet then will he be added the day after he starts? I'm putting my claims in either way. 61K:3BB ratio is insane.
  10. Jalen Beeks LHP Red Sox

Did he look like he was trying out a pitch or anything new? Possible he might just be bored with AAA and needs a new challenge to regain focus.
  11. Shane Bieber- SP CLE

What are the requirements for ESPN to add him?
  12. Tim Tebow - NYM

he will be 31 years old in August. I would love to see his ABs and what he is getting to hit. I wonder if a bunch of young 20 year old AA guys are throwing fastballs thinking they can get it by him. I wonder if they starting moving those fastballs around the zone and throwing some sliders and changeups how he would do. Actually pitch to him rather than act like it's BP. Then watch is numbers drop. By the time he actually improves his bat speed will be too slow. He can afford to live his dream and hang out with younger guys.
  13. Michael Kopech - P CHW

imminent as in friday saturday or sunday? lol, I screwed up my moves and will only have 4 starts in a minimum 5 start per week. need him now please.
  14. Jack Flaherty 2018 Outlook

I'm from St. Louis so if he starts and dominates that would be a huge bonus. What I do see is issues in the pen; the Cardinals could have 5 more wins and 5 fewer losses if they had a stronger pen. Gregerson has cost them wins and so has Holland. Cardinals have some of the best starting pitching so far this season. It doesn't seem like it because of the issues with Waino and with Martinez hitting the DL recently. To play a strong 9 it may be better to have Reyes in the pen at least initially until Wacha eventually loses it as he tends to do in June or July.
  15. Jack Flaherty 2018 Outlook

Flaherty will stay in the rotation. Reyes will build up arm strength in the pen. There is plenty of room for these guys to both stay on the team. Gregerson is done. Lyons is done. Under performers can stay on the DL. Also, don't be surprised to see the DL used to freshen up some arms; it's a long season and the Dodgers used the DL well last year to keep arms fresh.
