  1. Fwiw: Muncy talked about how pitchers adjusted when pitching to him, going reverse on him with FB low, breaking balls high.... He is taking lots of strikes looking with that low FB. He is awere of all this and now has to adjust himself, I would give him some time on bench before droping.
  2. With doubleheader today he has to play, right?
  3. There was some talk about him playing OF for Reds.
  4. Mariners reported cramps in his forearm in 3rd and 4th inning. He was holding back a bit during those innings, but said he finished feeling normal after that in 5th, 6th and 7th, throwing as usual. Forearm pain is never good, but there is a chance he will be fine.
  5. His low babip doesnt mean he was lucky yesterday, he just outpitched Padres. Almost didnt throw any fb with first pitch and he kept them guessing all game what is comming next. His Ks were down but Padres got almost no good contact, bunch of late swings generating lots of IF pop-ups. I think he did fantastic job pitching, very mature.
  6. How is Burdi doing for Pirates? Has he started throwing?
  7. 3 walks? His command is off this year?
  8. Matchup Oh faces top of the order(Hopkins, Santana, Franco, Altherr), Tepera was left with bottom
  9. He gave Cubs a truck load of runners and still came out of jams every inning without having his best stuff today. I"ll take that as a positive and move on.
  10. Bad starts happen, he did most of damage to himself, but what hurts is he had great match up on paper, Dodgers cant hit lefties. Shame, but maybe another good lessen for him.
  11. You just wait for Christin Stewart than.
