  1. 6x6 (obp for hitters, walks for pitchers) Without taking team needs into consideration do you prefer Jose Berrios or Matt Chapman?
  2. I like this line of thought. Only had 137 IP last year, so they might value him more as a starter late in the year.
  3. His breakout seems to depend on him figuring out lefties. He's never had an OBP higher than .286 against them.
  4. Called back up, likely to ride the bench and pinch run. Thanks for blowing my NA stash Rockies.
  5. He hit .393 last September after hitting .235 in August. Let's hope the same thing happens this year.
  6. Jacquizz Rodgers should still be the 3rd down back right?
  7. If Hampson was getting regular ABs I wouldn't like it, but this just allows him to go get some (even if he's already beyond proven himself in AAA). It also opens up a roster spot as he moves to NA. I don't mind the Holliday thing too much from a fantasy perspective.
  8. If he is capped around 90 this year what does that give him next year? 120?
  9. After seeing some discussion the the Garrett Hampson thread about how espn/yahoo do waivers I thought I would just come over and put this here. For espn it didn't really matter because Hampson wasn't in the database. He was in the database on yahoo which lead some to be mad about him not going to waivers. I just wanted to say that your commissioner can set it to go through waivers, but it does severely limit the number of minor league players available. Setting: "New players Become Available:" - 2 different options - "As soon as Yahoo adds them" "Wait until called up to Majors". Hampson was available to be picked up if your league setting is "As soon as Yahoo adds them" Hampson went through waivers (or whatever system you have set up) if your league setting is "Wait until called up to Majors"
  10. Career splits by pre/post all star break: Pre-All Star break .283 / .335 / .503 / .838 Post-All Star break .315 / .381 / .533 / .914 It's always a little nerve racking when your studs are underperforming, but this guy is usually a better 2nd half hitter.
  11. I think he might be a drop in avg leagues, but good production in obp leagues. For me he's riding the line of usefulness. 1b is shallow didn't now imo
  12. Great real life player. Underperforming fantasy player assuming you drafted top 100. If he went around 150 I think he's done ok for you
  13. Is he on an innings limit this year/next year? Are we expecting the call up in 2019?
  14. How much of a sell high is Brandon Crawford? Is he someone people just won't pay for, or should he be warranting some pretty good offers right now?
  15. They brought him in to face the 1-3 hitters. They let him get more than 3 out saves a lot too. Plus they have a day off tomorrow so why not go 2 IP.
  16. Anyone know why Andrelton was taken out of the game?
  17. At least we can pin point his problem, can't hit lefties. Easy to manage around that and enjoy the stats against righties.
  18. Amazing start to the season. Only complaint? 9 solo HRs, 2 with runners on base. I'll still take it.
  19. Freddie Freeman just got hit on the left wrist and walked off the field almost immediately.
  20. I'm watching the game, he is getting a few calls off the plate which is fortunate. However the Giants are swinging at just about every curveball and haven't touched one yet.
  21. Part of the problem might be all the days off the Royals have had to start this year. game, off, game, off, game, game, off, off, game, game. We'll see what happens when he starts playing more.
  22. Steady unsexy production. At the end of the year you love what he gives you. Jose Abreu of the outfield.
