  1. Today - 4/5, HR, 2 Doubles, 4 RBI. Absolute monster.
  2. He doesn't have to be Trout to make top 10. It's clear he's going to eclipse 200 hits and his average hard hit rate is Top 10 in MLB. He's also like 12 years old and not even close to his prime and somehow he's the best hitter on an already loaded lineup. Top 10 is absolutely feasible.
  3. Neris on the IL. They used Nicasio in the 9th but he blew it. It'll be interesting to see who they go with but I'm going to see if Pivetta gets lucky in the next few games.
  4. He's hitting .322/.365/.489 so far in June. One of the sweetest swings you'll see in a favorable ballpark in a favorable lineup. Ultimate buy low IMO if you need SB, average, hits, runs.
  5. Baldelli is a fool. Smeltzer was clearly struggling all game. GET HIM OUTTA HERE.
  6. He's had good success against Hudson before so that helps. His first double he missed a HR by a few feet. I'll give it another game or two before I declare that he's "heating up" but so far so good.
  7. 4 IP? Was that just precautionary?
  8. Jose Altuve has been pulled off his minor league rehab assignment due to "fatigue and soreness" around his surgically-repaired right knee. Altuve was on the verge of returning from a left hamstring strain, but he experienced this renewed knee discomfort after playing in his second minor league rehab game at Triple-A Round Rock on Monday. He's being evaluated by doctors back in Houston and there should be more information available on Wednesday. The star second baseman had surgery on his right knee last October, shortly after the Astros were eliminated from the ALCS <wet fart>
  9. Guy should spend less time trash talking on Twitter and more time getting his pitches over the plate.
  10. He was literally just called up. Do you expect every prospect to be Trout? Give it time.
  11. Underrated. You'd be foolish to think this kid is done.
  12. I would not do that trade. Benny is underrated and Kershaw is not even close to being a lock for staying healthy.
  13. Ultimate buy low. He's still good for 25 hrs 12 sb 280 avg 170+ hits.
  14. 2/4 1 HR 3 RBI 1 SB tonight. Keep an eye out for where Tampa bats him over the next few days.
  15. Mookie is going to be just fine. MVP.
  16. If that number is correct and he's ONLY projecting 131 RBI's, it just shows you how insanely productive Arenado has been.
  17. My money is on Mookie but they'll both be great.
  18. Hanley will be fine. Pitchers are exploiting him with sliders but I expect big numbers soon watching his AB's and batting practice.
  19. As soon as the commentators mentioned he hadn't walked anyone in the game, he proceeded to implode. It really was a weird sequence of events. He needs to be more aggressive and not nibble. His curveball is nasty, throw it more in the dirt when he's ahead in the count. I expect better results next time out.
  20. There's a reason you drafted him. He's going to hit 40+ again. Patience.
  21. Another SB. Currently leads MLB in stolen bases. You have to love this value so late in the draft.
  22. Absolute beast. It's been a pleasure watching this guy pitch. 7 IP 3H 1ER 3B 12K's
  23. Can't disagree with any of that logic. But I've seen stranger things happen in certain leagues and some people get really impatient early on.
