  1. I don’t understand the regression talks. He gets TDs because he has the ability to create separation as well as catch competitive throws. He already had a game without a TD, and then bounced back with a huge game like a WR1 does, so this isn’t some coincidence that he’s been playing that good and getting the targets. It’s not like the Jags will be like “alright he’s had enough, let’s use someone else now.” If he continues playing the way he has, why would they look elsewhere? He’s been their best receiver and through 5 weeks, so defenses have already been planning for him.
  2. Does anyone know the severity of his injury and how long he'll be out?
  3. It looks like you tried to explain it to yourself like you’re 5, but ultimately failed.
  4. Look at his numbers when Allen was out. Just his 2nd year. He’s a stud, just been buried behind depth but now he’ll shine. 104/1,282/16
  5. I get this is a discussion board meant for just that, but why do you all get so bent out of shape over something that none of us know the outcome of? Team Damien: McCoy is 31 and he sucked last year in Buffalo. Team McCoy: Buffalo was a bad offense and Damien is a JAG. Fact is, nobody knows. Save this energy towards researching for a backup plan. If you feel the need to argue to make yourself feel secure, then holding either of these players isn’t meant for you. Trade them. It’s as if your arguments will determine the outcome.
  6. McCoy is a RB1. Williams/Thompson will be flex options.
  7. I would definitely do it for Singletary.
  8. Traded: Christian McCaffrey and Tevin Coleman Received: JuJu Smith-Schuster and Damien Williams Full PPR/ 10-man league / SuperFlex Starters QB: Baker Mayfield RB: Damien Williams RB: Duke Johnson WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster WR: Mike Evans TE: Evan Engram Flex: Keenan Allen SuperFlex: Matt Ryan D/ST: Seattle Seahawks K: Jason Myers Bench RB: Miles Sanders, Devin Singletary, Darwin Thompson, Matt Breida, Jaylen Samuels, Damien Harris WR: Mecole Hardman
  9. Traded: Christian McCaffrey and Tevin Coleman Received: JuJu Smith-Schuster and Damien Williams Full PPR/ 10-man league / SuperFlex Starters QB: Baker Mayfield RB: Damien Williams RB: Duke Johnson WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster WR: Mike Evans TE: Evan Engram Flex: Keenan Allen SuperFlex: Matt Ryan D/ST: Seattle Seahawks K: Jason Myers Bench RB: Miles Sanders, Devin Singletary, Darwin Thompson, Matt Breida, Jaylen Samuels, Damien Harris WR: Mecole Hardman
  10. 10-man PPR with SuperFlex. Here's my current team: QB- Baker Mayfield/Matt Ryan RB: Christian McCaffrey/Tevin Coleman/Duke Johnson/Matt Breida/Devin Singletary/Miles Sanders/Damien Harris/Darwin Thompson/Jaylen Samuels WR: Mike Evans/Keenan Allen/Mecole Hardman TE: Evan Engram D/ST: Seattle Seahawks K: Jason Myers I could then try to trade Baker to another team for WR depth.
  11. I read a lot of different insights on FF. I can confidently say that these forums are the only source that make me drop everything I’m doing to go pick up a player off waivers. That moment I see “pick him up before it’s too late” my life flashes before my eyes.
  12. I see no weakness here. Maybe Breida isn't the best standard option but that's your 4th RB. I might consider a backup QB depending on who might be available.
  13. 1st overall pick - 10 man league - Full PPR with Super Flex Starters QB - Baker Mayfield RB - Christian McCaffrey RB - Tevin Coleman WR - Mike Evans WR - Keenan Allen TE - Evan Engram FLEX - Duke Johnson Super FLEX - Matt Ryan K - Jason Myers D/ST - Seattle Seahawks Bench WR - Curtis Samuel WR - Mecole Hardman RB - Miles Sanders RB - Matt Breida RB - Jaylen Samuels RB - Devin Singletary RB - Darwin Thompson Side Note - Considering dropping Curtis Samuel for James Washington or Jamison Crowder
  14. Everyone needs to grab this kid before it's too late.
  15. He's been impressive thus far and named the starter in place of AJ Green. Anyone buying? https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2019/08/25/undrafted-damion-willis-will-start-aj-green-week-1/
  16. 1) Don’t make too many trades. I’m very active and persistent in making trades to build elite teams. I’ve done so for two years and fell short of winning it all due to injuries and a lack of depth to make up for it. 2) Focus on having as many RBs as you possibly can. RB depth is extremely important, especially with RBs being more likely to get injuries If you can’t do that, then cuff your RBs. Seriously. 3) Don’t ignore the TE position. I drafted Mixon over Kelce in the 3rd round.
  17. Played in 3 leagues. Lost two, but the one I won in was the best feel good story. Joined my friend’s league of him and a bunch of his friends I don’t know. Most of them are well off apparently. I don’t care much about that but I’m still in college and working a great job thank God, but they all make more than I do. It was a cheap 20 dollar league and I had put together the best team. Well during the playoffs, all the eliminated teams started picking up players off waivers, to help their friends beat me (specifically Samuels when I lost Conner). I called them out on it and their responses were “you’re that broke that 20 bucks makes you this upset?” and “I make 20 dollars while taking a s--- and I wipe my a** with it.” I beat one of them in the semi finals by 0.4 points due to Gurley’s final catch last week against the Eagles. I changed my team name to “0.4” and then proceeded to beat the other guy yesterday in the finals due to a Damien Williams catch. Feels good to win in that league although I lost in my $100 league and work league.
