  1. I think I rather have them use Gurley this way than giving him all the touches early in the season and having him burnt out/injured come playoffs. We should be all be wanting his situation/usage. Even if it continues throughout the season, its not like we invested a first round pick on him. (This is what I say to myself to help me sleep at night.)
  2. Had CMC, Evans, and Car D going last night. CMC carried my team last week. Not this week though :(.
  3. 100% or not, why the hell would he want to risk getting injured during the first week of the season? The Rams were up the whole game and there was really no need for him to get those extra yards. It looked like he turned it up a bit near the end once the Panthers started to come back.
  4. I hope he learned where the sun rises and sets...
  5. JK, same time, same place next year guys?
  6. With all the injuries lately and players/coaches saying they're fine...
  7. Washington is starting Josh Johnson this week so not as good as it would be if Mark Sanchez played. Hopefully he ends up just as bad.
  8. I'm sorry, I forgot off topic stuff is never posted on these forums.
  9. Evans (undisclosed) was an observer at Sunday's practice, Greg Auman of The Athletic Tampa Bay reports. Auman notes that Evans took "a pretty good shot to the back" while making a play in Friday's preseason game against the Lions. That said, the star wideout's issue "doesn't appear to be anything significant," per Auman. The Buccaneers may simply be taking it easy with Evans, who presumably wouldn't play in Thursday's preseason finale even if he were 100 percent healthy.
  10. Not every draft is going to be the same. It also depends when you drafted. One league I'm in drafted after week 3 of the preseason and I was able to draft Evans in the 4th. I believe he sustained an injury that week so he had a big red medical cross next to his name. That deterred a lot of people from picking him up so getting Hill in the 3rd and Evans in the 4th is plausible.

  13. Man everyone is making this statement more complicated then it needs to be. "What if theres a full moon and the polar caps melt down a few inches? Will it be ok to make a waiver claim?" Don't worry, there are people who understand what you are saying.
  14. I dont even know why they try to play mind games with other teams. Its not like the other team isnt going to prepare for whatever player they put out there. The only people they are mind f**king are those who play fantasy (and maybe sports bettors). And honestly we do it to ourselves. A casual fantasy manager will see a questionable tag on a player and will just check again on game day to see if they're playing. A more serious manager will continually refresh twitter feeds, check forums, or even call up a player's physical therapist. Its ridiculous the stress we have to put ourselves through every year lol.
  15. He gets dual designation next year though so you can put him in either a te or idp spot.
