  1. 12 team NL-ONLY 5x5 keeper (we keep 4) Roto league. I’m playing to win this year and I’m looking a tad light in hitting (though I’m tracking very nicely in Runs). In light of the DeGrom elbow news, I have two options to take Option A - I make a single trade. I get - Daniel Murphy, Yasiel Puig, Jose Martinez, Zack Greinke I trade - Pete Alonso, Jacob DeGrom, Jeff McNeil Murphy does appear to be progressing nicely in his recovery from broken pinkie. But he does carry some risk. or Option B is 2 trades - Trade 1 - i get - Yasiel Puig, Daniel Murphy i trade - Pete Alonso Trade 2 - I trade - Jacob DeGrom i get - Luis Castillo, Max Fried Here’s my team - C - Austin Barnes C - JT Realmuto 1b - Paul Goldschmidt 2b - Mike Moustakis SS - Paul DeJong 3b - Jeff McNeil CI - Pete Alonso MI - Nick Ahmed OF - Charlie Blackmon OF - Lorenzo Cain OF - Franmil Reyes OF - Jarrod Dyson Util - Garrett Hampson Util - Neil Walker SP - Max Scherzer SP - Jacob DeGrom SP - Patrick Corbin SP - Jamison Taillon SP - Zack Wheeler SP - Nick Margevicious RP - Kenley Janson RP - Wade Davis RP - Raisel Iglesias RP - Nick Williams RP - Dominic Leone Do I make this move? Please help! WHIR!!
  2. I would definitely go after Montas or Gausman. Gausman should be steady and Montas has a high ceiling.
  3. I would definitely take the LeClerc offer quickly! McMahon is a perfect sell high guy.
  4. I think I would stand pat. I’m not convinced Alonso won’t be better than Abreu.
  5. This is really close...can’t fault you either way but I think I’d side with Baez. The Indians lineup appears to be weak around JRam.
  6. I love Acuna, but I think you’re taking on too much downside risk in Kershaw and Stanton. Injuries can be very tricky.
  7. I would go for Merrifield and Santana. That would set you up quite nicely.
  8. I actually like Bauer’s as a buy low. I think he has some nice upside and I’d take the deal. Turner will heat up.
  9. I think I side with the rest of the group. In this format, it’s critical that you have Verlander.

Another owner in the league is playing for next year and has offered me the following - I get - Daniel Murphy, Yasiel Puig I trade - Pete Alonso Murphy does appear to be progressing nicely in his recovery from broken pinkie. But he does carry some risk. Here’s my team - C - Austin Barnes C - JT Realmuto 1b - Paul Goldschmidt 2b - Mike Moustakis SS - Paul DeJong 3b - Jeff McNeil CI - Pete Alonso MI - Nick Ahmed OF - Charlie Blackmon OF - Lorenzo Cain OF - Franmil Reyes OF - Jarrod Dyson Util - Garrett Hampson Util - Neil Walker SP - Max Scherzer SP - Jacob DeGrom SP - Patrick Corbin SP - Jamison Taillon SP - Zack Wheeler SP - Nick Margevicious RP - Kenley Janson RP - Wade Davis RP - Raisel Iglesias RP - Nick Williams RP - Dominic Leone Should I make the move? I’d be able to replace Walker or Dyson in my lineup. Thanks! WHIR!
  11. I like DeJong. Hitting 3rd in that STL lineup with Ozuna behind him is gold.
  12. Wow....that’s a tough one! I think I would have to go Yelich and Alonso. Trout’s injury raises just enough doubt as to what long-term impact there might be for him to run. its close!
  13. I would go Neris. He will be an option for saves, especially with Robertson out awhile.
  14. I would go with DeJong. He is going to hit cleanup in a top offense and should be better for your squad.
  15. I think I would hold Paddack/Turner side. I am a big believer in Turner and he should thrive in that offense.
