  1. 14-Team Dynasty (with Farm System) - Teams available: Cardinals (can move to any other unoccupied NL city) - League Year: Three, founded 03/15/2017 - League Structure: AL (7 teams) and NL (7 teams) - Engine: ESPN - Use Google Sheets to track rosters with salaries for future seasons (working on a website to allow a better representation of this information!) - Have ProBoards for in- and off-season communication, Minor League drafts (add players to your Farm System through a Prospect [February] and an Amateur [June] Draft) - League is H2H (6x6 categories) through first September weekend and then 3 weeks of playoffs (8 teams qualify) - Salary Cap of $300 - FAAB of $150 - Cost: FREE There are some amnesty rules, so new GMs do have immediate opportunities for putting their stamp on their new team. (However, this Cardinals team has already had Amnesty in 2019, so it's not eligible for Amnesty again. This GM that just left us joined a couple months ago amidst a busy schedule and then just endured a life changing event so he had to leave. Hence, we need a new GM.) If you're interested, inquire within and I'll be happy to share the constitution and sheets links. arborwolf19@yahoo.com The Auction Draft (to round out rosters for 2019) is next Saturday, March 16, so don't delay!
  2. Thanks for your replies. The teams are filled with fantasy rosters. @Pullthegoalie, I found two additional GMs this morning but will hold on to your email just in case one of them doesn’t work out. Thanks much.
  3. We filled two of the openings. Only two left. Anyone else interested?
  4. We've had a bit of turnover this winter as four of our GMs have graduated to other phases of life; post-college, etc. Our league is fairly active and employs a nice blend of components to give you a real GM feel without overwhelming the soul. 14-Team Dynasty (with Farm System) - Teams available: Reds, Marlins, Nationals, Phillies (can move to any other unoccupied NL city) - League Year: Three, founded 03/15/2017 - League Structure: AL (7 teams) and NL (7 teams) - Engine: ESPN - Use Google Sheets to track rosters with salaries for future seasons - Have ProBoards for in- and off-season communication, Minor League drafts (add players to your Farm System through a Prospect [February] and an Amateur [June] Draft) - League is H2H (6x6 categories) through September 2 and then 3 weeks of playoffs (8 teams qualify) - Salary Cap of $300 - FAAB of $150 - Cost: FREE There are some amnesty rules, so new GMs do have immediate opportunities for putting their stamp on their new team. Interested? Inquire within and I'll be happy to share the constitution and sheets links. arborwolf19@yahoo.com
  5. We need one mid-season replacement for an owner that has gone awol. 14-Team Dynasty (Small Farm System) - Team available: Los Angeles Dodgers (can move to any other unoccupied NL city) - League Year: Two, founded 03/15/2017 - Engine: ESPN - Use Google Sheets to track rosters with salaries for future seasons - Have ProBoards for off-season communication and Minor League drafts (add players to your Farm System through a Prospect [March] and an Amateur [June] Draft) - League is H2H (6x6 categories) through September 2 and then 3 weeks of playoffs (8 teams qualify) - Salary Cap of $300 - Cost: FREE Email if you're interested. arborwolf19@yahoo.com Thanks!
  6. The 14-team league is full. I will accept members for a waiting list, if that league is of more interest. The one we're still looking for active owners is the 30-team Full-Franchise Dynasty League. 30-Team Dynasty (Full MiLB) - Teams available: (5) Tigers, Rays, Marlins, Mariners, Reds - League Year: One, founded 01/19/2018 - Engine: Fantrax - Use ProBoards for Roster maintenance, tracking, transactions, communication, etc. - League is H2H (6x6 categories) for 18 week season and then playoffs (10 teams qualify) - Salary cap of $100.0M for entire franchise (MLB + MiLB) - Cost: $2.67 per year per team (to pay for Fantrax) I know many new owners are worried that with a predominantly free league that people won't be as committed. I can tell you that 16 of the 25 current owners logged in to manage their teams on Fantrax as recently as 24-36 hours ago. Of the other 9, 7 are inside a week. Only 2 are delinquent, and they are building for the future. Each of the five (5) available teams has made changes since its inception, so none of them are bone-stock to their MLB counterpart. They're not too drastically different, but they are different enough to each present unique challenges. Each team does possess its 2018 Amateur Draft Class IN FULL. If you're interested in a unique challenge, drop me a line: arborwolf19@yahoo.com. I'd love to connect you with one of these franchises and test your mettle in the Fantasy Baseball world.
  7. Filled one team: Royals Still have four vacancies: Marlins, Mariners, Reds, Tigers You interested? Drop me a line if you are: arborwolf19@yahoo.com Thanks for looking!
  8. Happy Saturday! To clarify, the 14-team ESPN-based league is currently full and all GMs are checking in regularly. If you're interested in that league, I would be happy to put your on a waiting list. I do not have any ETA on when I could get you placed, however, as the current group is active daily and all seem genuinely engaged. The openings I have are all for the 30-team ProBoards/ Fantrax league. This league, as I've discussed with recent folks inquiring, is a bit more intense. From tracking transactions on the message board to updating lineups on Fantrax, yes, it's a lot of overhead, but there isn't a single website (yet) that offers the complete flexibility of contract management (particularly at the minor league level) integrated with general fantasy game play, so at the moment we're stuck at the intersection of utilizing both mechanisms. There are currently five openings: Marlins, Mariners, Reds, Royals, Tigers Not one of these teams is in their original state, as previous GMs have made trades to bolster the team's existing roster or minor league system. (For example, the Marlins have Bryce Harper.) If you're interested in an extremely challenging (and detailed) fantasy gaming experience, send me an email and we'll get you engaged. arborwolf19@yahoo.com It's not for the faint of heart, I assure you, lol. Thanks!
  9. Hi Joel, Didn't see this as I don't check the board as frequently as I'd like. E-mail just sent. Vinny, a follow-up e-mail was sent as well. Lastly, we had two additional GMs experience unfortunate family issues and they had to bow out. That means a few more openings. C'mon in! The Free Agent pool is thin, just like in the real MLB, but lots of teams are actively pushing for the 2018 title or building for the future. Are you game? Let me know! arborwolf19@yahoo.com
  10. We've had turnover with a couple of teams. Upwards of three teams are available now: - Kansas City Royals - Miami Marlins - Seattle Mariners None of them are their original lineup because of trades from January through mid-May, included the Miami owner. He relocated to Houston when Houston became available, but he made a lot of changes in Miami before moving on. It's not the same bad team that's actually there in real life today. Miami is actually in 2nd place in the East! Anyone interested? arborwolf19@yahoo.com if you are. Cheers.
  11. As we begin week 3 of the MLB season, it would seem that I might have two openings in each league. If you're interested, please reach out: arborwolf19@yahoo.com The 30-teamer is a lot to learn, but it's also a lot of fun. The 14-teamer is more streamlined and more active (in season), with a more robust WW (because only 14 teams). Anybody game at this point of the season?
  12. Hey Kody, Or you can e-mail me directly at arborwolf19@yahoo.com. Week 1 (Mar 29-April 8) is still in the works with lots going on. Let me know so we can get you engaged if you're interested. Thanks!
  13. Absolutely. What's your e-mail? I'll shoot you the specifics.
  14. Bump. Now that the season has started, these teams are ready to go. Who wants in?
  15. It's mystifying that the closer we get to first pitches on Opening Day, the more quiet things have become. We have two openings in each league. Each league has its own unique ruleset and there is not much crossover with regard to GM population. Give a holler if you're interested. Thanks! arborwolf19@yahoo.com
