  1. I wish I had not seen Kyrie wasn't gonna play.
  2. I got offered Jokic for my Lillard. I'm actually looking to improve my rebounding and FG% and I'm considering to accept. Haven't watched the Nuggets this year, any particular reason to think Jokic is not a top10 player this year?
  3. Any idea how we can transfer our ESPN ROTO league to Fantrax and hardcode the current standings without messing up season player stats?
  4. That's due to a number of reasons actually. In Euroleague, we've got: 40-min games, hence less time on the court on average Better team defensive approach more contact, hand checking etc allowed more travels called Also, regarding Luca's predictions above, I believe his assists will be a lot more than 3.5. I expect something around 5.0. He (already) is a great playmaker with tremendous passing skills. Plus, another thing that is worked out differently in Europe is assists. It's a lot harder to get an assist there and Luca has 4.3 in 26 mins last year. I would also expect his made 3-pointers to be between 1.5 and 2.0. Saying that, I'd be drafting him between 7th and 8th round but with all that hype, I doubt I stand any chance.
  5. Some say Lowry is poised for a career year sans Derozan. As in doing better than no11 (15-16) and no12 (16-17)? That's highly unlikely, if not impossible. Those two campaign numbers were inflated by two major outliers. Steals and FG that were way up vs. the average. Last year both regressed and he finished at no30 just like 4 seasons ago. Not to mention he's now 1 year older and has trouble staying on the court. Hopefully nobody from my leagues sees this post and they draft then in top 15-20.
  6. Only half-way through the season and KD has missed 8 games. Maybe you'll be ok, if you lose a couple of h2h weeks due to KD being hurt, but you can't possibly make up for it in Roto. Especially if you also drafted Gordon Hayward...
  7. Well they just gave one of his steals to Winslow...
  8. Well, the main difference between the two is the 3s (Porzingis wins) and fg% (Turner wins). I see Turner taking about 15 shots a game, which would take his points to about 20/game. He's also showed he is more durable than KP, which is why I'd choose him over Porzingis.
  9. I get your point. However, Markkanen has not played in Europe or Euroleague... He only played in the last Eurobasket with Finland, he is only 20yo (Mirotic was 24yo before he came to NBA) and showed a skillset similar to a young Dirk with more explosiveness. Obviously, this doesn't mean that he will necessarily be as good as the best European that has ever played the game was at his prime, but still it's a sign he can become special. And to answer to your question, he might not start over Mirotic during first couple of months, but he can definitely win that role as the season progresses especially if Mirotic is as inconsistent as he's been throughout his NBA career.
  10. I don't think anyone compared Mirotic (or any other European) to Lebron. Mirotic never averaged more than 12.5pts/5rebs/1ass/1st/1bl in Euroleague, nor has he ever been part of an all Euroleague first team. But surely, he was expected to have done better in the NBA so far. As for Markkanen, dominating in a random European league and dominating in Euroleague or (especially) Eurobasket are two very different things. Lauri did the latter. Anyway, I'm really high on him and wouldn't be surprised if he averaged more than 25 mins for this Bulls team producing the stats needed to pick him with my 130th pick.
  11. My guess is that whoever thinks the guy is just another white euro 7-footer who can shoot, they'll be proved wrong before Xmas. His skillset and "winner mentality" are hard to find at this age. He might not be at the level of next year's no1 draft pick (Doncic), but he's definitely got a chance to become special.
