  1. I've seen starters get anywhere from 12 to 40 points a game. I've seen scooter rival that when he hit 4 bombs in one game but a good hitter will get anywhere from 6 to 12 on a good day.
  2. Hey guys, It's me again with yet another ludicrous offer. I receive Manny Machado, Shane Bieber, and Osuna (Astros) for Trevor Bauer and Jack Flaherty. This is a no brainer IF I had another solid ace type of SP. After Bauer my starters get to the B range and losing Flaherty will hurt. I honestly have such an amazing offense that adding Machado doesn't even appeal that much to me right now, but adding him to that offense and just raking in points at the expense of my pitching staff may be the way to go at this point Current team in below, thanks for the help as usual! H2H points based 10 Man League C- Yasmani Grandal 1B- Freedie Freeman 2B- Robinson Cano 3B- Nolan Arenado SS- Xander Bogaerts 2B/SS- Scooter Gennett 1B/3B- Jake Lamb OF- Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, George Springer, Aaron Hicks, David Peralta UTIL- Justin Smoak IL- Didi Gregorius SP- Trevor Bauer, David Price, Masahiro Tanaka, Carlos Martinez, Jack Flaherty, Alex Reyes, Dereck Rodriguez, Jesus Luzardo RP- Aroldis Chapman, Arodys Vizcaino, Matt Barnes
  3. This is actually incredibly helpful. Thanks! That would make sense about Freeman.
  4. Any word on Forrest Whitley? I just saw he was assigned to the minors, with the expectation that he will be up this season.
  5. Hey all, From my last few posts in the bench coach section, a few of you understand I'm relatively new to the fantasy baseball stuff. Some trades everyone here believes are incredibly one sided are ones that I (initially) thought were less one sided, but with an edge to one team or another. Basically, my general thought in this non-keeper, points based H2H league is to go off the projections put on each player by ESPN. For instance: I was offered Ronald Acuna and Jose Abreu for Freddie Freeman (I know, its ridiculous. If you want to comment on how I should take that trade immediately, its still open in the bench coach section). ESPN projects the following for 2019: Ronald Acuna to have 407 points Jose Abreu to have 389. Freddie Freeman to have 464 To accept this trade, I would have to drop a player. That would currently be Jake Lamb (314 points). So, in a H2H points based league, my math would look like this: Acuna (407) plus Abreu (389) = 796 796 - Freeman (464) = 332, minus Lamb (314) = 18. So this trade would net me a total of 18 points. My logic would initially be that it's not even worth the trade at that point. Additionally, I was in part of another trade that was sending Aaron Nola (517) to another team for Aaron Judge (398) which would cost me over 100 points. I understand that the point system isn't the best way to weigh a players value in fantasy, but I'd like some assistance in viewing the value of players the best way so I can trade with impunity! Thanks everyone, and if you need any further information, let me know!
  6. If this was a regular points based league I would say that is a pretty one sided deal, but I'm unfamiliar with the intricacies of dynasty, I just know players are valued differently.
  7. hahaha no I got soto and flaherty for haniger and alex wood :p
  8. Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to get into a more competitive league next year but we will see.

  10. I'm not sure why, most of these today I haven't even made the offer for. It's not a money league and not super competitive, no keepers either. I think some of the guys get attached to a name for some reason.
  11. For some reason I'm finding myself in the midst of a 5th trade scenario. This guy wants Freeman bad, and offered Acuna and either Abreu or Hosmer. And....go!
  12. Thanks guys, I got them both! I just like haniger a bit too much I guess.
  13. I was just offered Soto and Jack Flaherty for Haniger and Tanaka. My first inclination is no, but it's possible he swaps Acuna for Soto and then I would be intrigued. Thoughts?
