  1. Officially accepted the trade. Thanks all for your input. It was tough letting go of Correa.
  2. What is everyone thoughts on me countering for Jose Berrios instead of Luis Castillo? Luis Castillo or Jose Berrios?
  3. I would make the trade. Bregman and Machado are both established great players. Machado might not produce career numbers this year but SD has a lot of young talent to protect him (Franmil Reyes, Tatis, Urias, Renfroe) Acuna 30-40 homers with 20-25 SB potential. Bregman 35+ homers, 10-15 SB potential. Machado - 30+ homers 10-15 SB
  4. 10 team league, head to head categories, we are allowed to keep 10 guys every year. The trade is basically Correa for Machado because I doubt Castillo would be one of my Keepers for next year. I like to think I am in the win now mode and Castillo would be a nice arm to add to my rotation. Roster spot: C-1B-2B-SS-3B-2B/SS-1B/3B-OF-OF-OF-OF-OF-U Pitching spots: P-P-P-SP-SP-RP-RP My Team C - JT Realmuto 1B - Freddie Freeman 2B - Ozzie Albies SS – Trea Turner, Carlos Correa, Jorge Polanco, Brendan Rodgers 3B - Alex Bregman, Matt Chapman OF - Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts, Max Kepler, Franmil Reyes, Clint Frazier Bench/Prospect - Luis Robert SP – German Marquez, Walker Buehler, Chris Paddack, Lucas Giolito, Corey Kluber RP – Luke Jackson, Scott Oberg, Edwin Diaz, Raaisel Iglesias Bench/Prospect – Jesus Luzardo, Dallas Keuchel Who would you rather have, Correa or Machado/Castillo Thanks for the responses.
  5. Anyone know of a free radio station you can listen to games on?
  6. I love Ablies upside as well but I don't know if I need another guy who is going to steal 30 bags. 213 SB's was most in the league last year and I project my 9 keepers will get me 155ish SB's as long as they stay healthy. I have had odor for 2 years and Love the pop for 2B but his OBP/avg. is a suck. I also already have a solid middle infield. If Realmuto was traded to another team I would probably consider keeping him but the Marlins are going to be BAD this year. Who could I get in return for Lamb/Odor/Albies? I think all of these guys have some upside. Thanks for the response guys. Love seeing/hearing others input/ideas.
  7. 5 years, 3 top 3 finishes, no championships. All ways the "bridesmaid" but never the "bride". Top 3 in every batting category last year, and top 5 in almost all of the pitching categories. Ran into some bad luck in playoffs. 5 Pitches categories: Whip, ERA, Saves, Wins, K's 5 Batting categories: Runs, HR's, RBI's, SB, OBP Now the hard part, figuring out my keepers for this year. Below is my 2017 team. I have 9 guys I feel I NEED to keep and a few guys I WANT to keep. Most teams in our league have 3+ closers in hope to keep Whip/ERA down. Batting C - J.T. Realmuto 1B - Freddie Freeman (Keeper) 2B - Ozzie Albies 3B - Alex Bregman (Keeper) SS - Carlos Correa (Keeper) 2B/SS - Brian Dozier (Keeper) 1B/3B - Jake Lamb OF1 - Mookie Betts (Keeper) OF2 -Cody Bellinger (Keeper) OF3 - Ender Inciarte OF4 - Shin-Soo Choo OF5 - Trea Turner (no longer OF eligible) (Keeper) UTIL - Kendry Morales Bench - Rougned Odor Pitching P - Edwin Diaz P - Alex Claudio P - Brad Hand SP - Yu Darvish (Keeper) SP - Corey Kluber (Keeper) RP - Arodys Vizcaino RP - Archie Bradley Bench - Mike Minor Bench - Jose Berrios Bench - Hyun-Jin Ryu Bench - Lucas Giolito I have a couple young arms I could see taking a step forward in 2018 (Giolito and Berrios) but it seems bats are the safer/healthier bet. Thoughts? Draft strategy advice for this year? new to the forum but have really enjoyed reading everyone's comments.
  8. Which website does everyone prefer to follow/listen to spring training games?
  9. Love this Topic. Gives me a good starting point on which sleepers I want to target on draft day!
  10. He smashes RHP and struggles against LHP. Can't decide if he's worthy of a keeper. 10 keepers per team.
  11. Electric stuff but that doesn't matter if you can't stay on the field. I would be surprised if he pitches 145 innings this season.
  12. It all depends on how your league drafts and how your early/middle rounds go but I usually draft a couple prospects around round 18 (guys I know have a chance at making an impact this year). A little risk could pay big dividends down the road.
  13. I can't see Rosario being a top 10-12 fantasy SS this year or next. The Mets lineup is full of injury prone players or guys that are getting up there in age. SS is also a pretty deep position, so at most he is a late round flier for me.
