  1. Thanks for all the replies. I hadn't realized there was a way for owners to use multiple future draft picks to obtain the rights of college players, so actually Barkley, Guice and Darnold were taken last year before the season started. The draft started Penny, Jackson, Mayfield, and Rosen; I was hoping to get Mason Rudolph at the 21st pick but he went a couple picks before I had the chance. The premium on QB's is pretty crazy, I hope I can get my hands on a second one soon without gutting my team...
  2. Dynasty Standard Question- this or that

I get the skepticism on Shepherd, but I believe Chubb is going to be a star in a year or two and will be the best of the four by a decent margin.
  3. 2QB Dyno question

I agree about all these being good for you, and I think #3 would be especially tempting for him with all the McKinnon hype (much of it warranted).
  4. Hi guys-- This is my first rookie draft in a superflex league (16-team, 65-man rosters) and I have Carson Wentz as my only QB and 1.14, 2.03 and 8.08 as my only draft picks. The 2017 draft in this league had Watson, Mahomes and Kizer going 1.05, 1.06 and 1.07, with Trubisky at 1.10. Can anyone give me a sense of where the top 4 QB might go in this year's draft? I would like to trade up and get Lamar Jackson if possible, and I have Ertz, Demariyus, Shady (ugh), Dion Lewis and Fitz as trade chips. What would be a good deal for me that the other owner might accept, and what pick should I target? WHIR, of course. Eric
  5. Mixon for Cohen/Freeman?

If you can start 4, Freeman/Cohen is the way to go. Denver dudes are going to be a lot better this year with a decent QB.
  6. New Dynasty League Draft 4th Pick WHIR

I agree, young WR's are more valuable in dynasty than in redraft--more years of top performance ahead of them.
  7. JuJu may be more fun to watch, but Mixon is the better fantasy producer.
  8. Amari Cooper or TY Hilton? WHIR!!!

I would lean toward Hilton, since he has demonstrated consistent production with Luck--not the case with Cooper/Carr. And I don't think Hilton will be a disaster with Brissett after the team upgraded the OL this offseason. He outperformed Cooper last year with Brissett as QB.
  9. Keeper Question

With the .5 PPR and thin veteran RB availability, that would point toward Mixon, if not by much.
  10. I would agree normally, but this commissioner runs a dozen leagues with 100+ owners and they're not cheap. I don't know how he does it. This is the fourth one I've joined in the group, give it a look: https://www.paragonfantasyfootball.com
  11. Short answer: We have no picks to start out. Long answer: The first-round picks of the departing owners, which include the 1.02 pick, are available in the draft. (So no Saquon in all likelihood.) The remaining picks are packages of picks sorted by remaining owner, also available in the dispersal draft. A new owner can end up with no pick or all the departing owners' picks depending on how the draft goes. Thanks for the help, it's good to get validation of my preference for Wentz. Go with your gut!
  12. I just registered today, so create topic in the assistant coach forum is grayed out. Can someone please help me in this topic? I need to make the pick today. As for your questions, the only non-default quirky option in this league is that you need to roster a punter and coach. Not a big fan of this quirk, but what can you do... My roster is blank, as I am a new owner in this dynasty league. This is a dispersal draft taking the four departing owners' rosters and making these players and other free agents available to the four new owners. Here is my original ?, sorry for going on so long-- I am in a superflex 16-team PPR IDP dynasty league, a new owner with a 4-team dispersal draft. I have the top pick. Here are the top dudes available: Zeke Elliott Antonio Brown Carson Wentz All the rankings say take Zeke, but... The QB's available below Wentz are Dalton, Eli, Tyrod and Bortles. Yeesh. The RB/WR depth is decent, BTW. Do I pull the trigger on Wentz instead?
  13. On second thought, I agree with Iron-cock. In my case I really really want to take the QB and I can definitely see the logic of loading up on the position. BTW, I'd like to edit my post to say that my question above involves a DYNASTY league. I guess Rotoworld doesn't let noobs like me edit too much. Should I make my question its own topic?
  14. I would go for Bell since you already have Wentz. I hope one of you can help me with a different dilemma. I am in a superflex 16-team PPR IDP league, a new owner with a 4-team dispersal draft.
