  1. My draft is this weekend for my 10 team, 9 category keeper league. I have the 3rd overall pick. The keeper rules are that each team can keep a max of 3 players. The keeper cost is the round they were drafted in. My starting point is pretty stellar as I already have: De'Aaron Fox (11th round pick), Jayson Tatum (13th round pick), and Donovan Mitchell (15th round pick) Given that starting point what's the ideal rounds 1-3 starting point for this team. I have no idea who's going 1-2, but my guess is I'll be choosing between Curry and KAT. MY keeper position would seem to point towards going big with my 1st pick, but a Curry/Fox/Mitchell guard group is insane. At picks 18/23 I'd love to get 2 of Doncic/Zion/Ayton. I know I'm reaching Doncic/Zion to an extent but I feel like I can take some risk given the keepers and I want to have as fun of a team as possible. I also tend to punt on TO each year. I go for high usage guys and just figure that high turnovers is part of the deal. I'm fine with that. Thoughts on how to start things off?
  2. I had my draft last night for a 10 team PPR auction keeper league. Each team can keep up to 3 players with a $200 salary cap. I kept Nick Chubb, Tyreek Hill and Juju Smith-Schuster. College players are also draftable. QB: Aaron Rodgers ($14) RB: Nick Chubb ($4), Damien Williams ($33), Derrick Henry ($16), Mark Ingram ($8), Darrell Henderson ($2), D'Andre Swift ($1) WR: Tyreek Hill ($60), Juju Smith-Schuster ($24), Robert Woods ($25), Christian Kirk ($2), Curtis Samuel ($6), Anthony Miller ($1) TE: Eric Ebron ($2) K: Greg Zeurlein ($1) Def: Vikings ($1)
  3. I'm in a fairly complicated auction keeper league where I have the luck of owning Trea Turner this year for $11 out of a $260 budget. The injury news is devastating and teams that have already decided that they're competing for next year have lined up. I have a deal on the table that I have to accept tonight, there is a real clock on this. Turner's salary will escalate each year to $17, $24, $32, etc. We also have minor league players rostered. Here is the deal: I give Trea Turner, Taylor Trammell, Andres Gimenez, and Yordan Avlarez I get Christian Yelich ($31), Kris Bryant ($31) and Edwin Diaz ($22) Other notes: My closer situation is in shambles, so Diaz is huge. Just have a hard time moving on from someone as dynamic (and cheap) as Trea. No timeline on his injury is problematic. What do people think?
  4. I've been carrying Ricky Rubio on my IR spot for a few weeks, but now that he's back I need to drop someone and don't have any obvious choices (lucky me I suppose). I'm leaning towards Thomas Bryant but he's been so good for the last month. Who would you drop form my team? This is a 10 team league. PG: Damian Lillard, Ricky Rubio, Tomas Satoransky SG: Paul George, Donovan Mitchell, Brandon Ingram SF: Jayson Tatum, Justise Winslow. Bogdan Boganovich PF: Tobias Harris, Domantas Sabonis, Marvin Bagley C: Joel Embiid, Myles Turner, Hasaan Whiteside, Thomas Bryant Note: Mitchell, Tatum, Sabonis, and Bagley can all be kept for 9th round picks or better
  5. aligned with everyone else. I was on board without Cooper. Including him pushes it over the edge to a "no". Help with mine? http://forums.rotoworld.com/topic/726922-mccoycarolina-for-arobinsonlindsayjax-whir/
  6. As long as you have the RB depth I'd run and take this. TE is a wasteland and Howard may be losing time/touches to Cohen anyway. Help with mine?
  7. I'm in a 10 team PPR league, roster in my signature. I've been offered the following deal: I give LeSean McCoy and Carolina Defense I get Allen Robinson, Phillip Lindsay and Jacksonville Defense Thoughts? Leave a link and I'll help with yours!
  8. I'm in a 10 team PPR auction keeper league. I thought I had my keepers set (can keep a maximum of 3 players) but a few trade proposals have been dropped in my lap and I'm trying to sort through them. Each team can keep a max of 3 players and has a $200 salary cap. Do either of these offers for David Johnson look appealing? I love him, but the opportunity to replace him with a really good RB and upgrade my WR1 slot is really appealing. 1) David Johnson ($30) for Melvin Gordon ($20) and Keenan Allen ($37) 2) David Johnson ($30) for Christian McCaffrey ($24) and Keenan Allen ($37) As it stands, my current keepers would be David Johnson ($30), Mike Evans ($55), and Tyreek Hill ($23). That's 54% of salary cap. The league has a $200 cap for 16 roster spots. Its worth noting that top 10 WR's go for a premium and tend to start at $50 and go up from there. Julio Jones went for $85 last year and Antonio Brown was kept at $78. Just helpful context in case someone wonders why keep Evans at $55.

  10. I'm in a league with salary cap and I'm bumping right up against it. I'm looking to clear some space to make other moves and the best way is to move Kershaw and his cumbersome $49 salary. The deal on the table is I give Kershaw and get DeGrom ($29) and Mike Foltynewicz ($2) Thoughts? Is that enough? Kershaw's value is diminished some due to his high salary.
  11. In my auction keeper league I ended up buying Nelson Cruz at $23, which was a pleasant surprise as I expected him to be more expensive. The downside is that now I'm handcuffed into playing him at Utility, which blocks me from playing Matt Davidson (have Arenado/Devers at 3B/CI) other than random days. I've been offered Jonathan Schoop for Cruz, which holds some appeal as Schoop has potential keeper value and also fills a positional need at 2B. Thoughts on this swap?
  12. I'm in a 13 team auction keeper league, where each team has $260 to spend on a starting roster of 23 (5 OF, 9 Pitchers). Each team can also keep up to 8 players. Our league also has a draft for minor league players. Right now my keeper list is: Rafael Devers, Trea Turner, Manny Machado, Josh Bell, Nolan Arenado, Rhys Hoskins, Chris Sale, and Noah Syndergaard for a total of $108 (42% of total salary). I love the player list but I'm debating trimming some salary to try to give myself more options in the auction. The deal I have been offered is: I give Manny Machado ($31 salary) I get Ian Happ ($0 salary) and Brendan Rodgers (no hit to salary cap, goes on Minor League roster spot) Manny is a stud for sure and I love that he'll get SS eligibility after 5 games in this league, but he's only marginally under-valued. He wouldn't be worth keeping beyond this season. Happ has some playing time question marks, but its hard to argue with $0 salary and slots in nicely at 2B. Rodgers is really just a flier and possibly trade bait during the season. My salary cap hit from keepers would drop to $77 (30% of total salary). Thoughts?
  13. Ohtani will go in the auction, which occurs before the draft. Most top minor league keepers are already gone. Its mostly guys who have vaulted up the rankings since last year and as guys like Devers, Moncada, etc graduate. Targets for the 1st 4 (some could go in the draft) would be guys like Tatis Jr, Bichette, Louis Robert, Forrest, Whitley, etc.
  14. I'm in a 13 team auction keeper league, where each team has $260 to spend on a starting roster of 23 (5 OF, since its relevant here). Each team can also keep up to 8 players. Our league also has a draft for minor league players. Right now my keeper list is: Willson Contreras, Rafael Devers, Trea Turner, Josh Bell, Andrew Benintendi, Billy Hamilton, Chris Sale, and Noah Syndergaard for a total of $77 (30% of total salary). I've been offered Rhys Hoskins and the 2nd overall minor league picks (I already have picks 1, 3, and 4) for Benintendi. Benintendi's salary is $5 and would escalate to $11 next year, $17 the year after Hoskins salary is $9 and would escalate to $15 next year, $21 the year after I feel like Benintendi has the safer floor but I don't know what his ceiling is. Hoskins also has such a small sample size. I'm really torn. Given that I have Turner/HAmilton I'm set for steals and am mostly chasing power for offensive stats.
  15. I can't play them both. If it matters I'm also starting Seth Roberts and I'm going up against Phillip Rivers.
