  1. Raheem Mostert 2018 Outlook

it's no coincidence that mostert sounds a lot like MUST START
  2. Nathan Peterman 2018 Outlook

starting him in my +6pt INT league
  3. Trenton Cannon 2018 Outlook

80 grade name, will be on my roster because of it, plus living in central NJ allows me to name my team Trenton Cannons
  4. June Closer Thread 2018

smart money says gsellman...mick loves him
  5. I've got a hefty pitching staff after selling some prospects in a dynasty league, and I'm wondering if I should fill my hole at 2B (currently occupied by Cozart) with Albies by trading Snell. My staff: Sale, deGrom, Ohtani, Berrios, McCullers, Snell, Mengden, Junis (and Buehler in the minors) My other option would be to drop Cozart and move Javier Baez to 2B and call up Amed Rosario to play SS. Wondering if adding Albies to improve my offense is worth getting rid of Snell (the AL East still scares me). Lastly, Snell would cost $15 to keep next year, and Albies would cost $21. Offense: Sanchez, Rizzo, Cozart, Baez, Turner, Crawford, Moreland, Harper, Haniger, Puig, A. Jones, Hamilton, Conforto, J. Bell
  6. I need to clear some room on my squad - who would you drop, Blake Parker (LAA) or Jose Alvarado (TB)? Neither has gotten much use lately. I've also got Chapman, Morrow, and Vizcaino.
  7. Anthony Alford - OF TOR

OPSing a robust .464 in AAA this year. between injuries and poor performance, has the sun finally set on alford?
  8. trade question 100% whir

keep machado, no brainer to me
  9. I've got a plethora of pitching and I need to drop one because the league is on CBS and my roster is currently ineligible. It is a dynasty league but I am unsure if I would keep Osuna at $22 next season. Roster (besides Osuna): SP: Syndergaard, McCullers, Snell, Godley, Berrios, Buehler, Junis, Ohtani RP: Chapman, Morrow, Vizcaino, Clippard, Parker Thanks and WHIR!
  10. Nick Kingham 2018 Outlook

is he slated to stay in the rotation?
  11. I would give up Snell. 5x5 roto with OBP/QS instead of AVG/W, keeper league as well - Snell is eligible to be kept for $15 next year ($260 budget), Cain eligible to be kept for $20 (wouldn't do this regardless), Santana not eligible to be kept. My pitching has been quite good but my outfield is in rough shape - Haniger, Conforto, Hamilton, and A. Jones with Eaton and Pugi on the DL. My starters are Syndergaard, Ohtani, Berrios, Godley, McCullers, A. Kingham, Buehler, and Soroka waiting in my minor league system to be called up. Sitting in first place by a close margin right now and I am wondering if I should make a move to shore up my OF. I have the second-lowest OBP and SB in the league at the moment which is why I like Cain. WHIR, as always.
  12. Peter Alonso 1b NYM

from one of the mods on a mets blog who has seen him play a lot in person: "He screws up basic things that a 1b should be able to do in his sleep. It’s not like he just doesn’t stretch good, or has trouble finding the bag, or things like that. It’s basic stuff that Sunday beer league guys have no problem with (usually). I’ve noted before, he didn’t always play 1b, and was a 3b for most of his time at Florida, but again, some of this stuff should just come to you, and I don’t really get fully why he has issues with some of it." he profiles as a pure DH...which is a problem for his short term outlook.
  13. Matt Wisler 2018 Outlook

there is nothing to see here, guy just owns the mets for some reason
  14. Brandon Nimmo 2018 Outlook

he only stole 10 more than once in a season in the minors and that was back in 2014 so...no. plus the mets as an organization do not value stolen bases.

that bat slam is one for the ages
