  1. Isn't that just about everybody outside the top 50? I don't get that mentality.
  2. Got dropped in my league. It's not super-competitive but still. Am I missing something?
  3. What's the general consensus on this guy going forward? Is he a buy in a keeper/dynasty at or below market value? If he comes back and does reasonably well for a couple regular season starts/playoffs, where would you expect him to be drafted in 2018?
  4. Completed a deal for Urias on Thursday, a couple hours before I read that he was heading back to LA for further testing. Injuries happen and we sign up for the craziness, but this one has a special kind of sting to it. Anyone buy into the brave face the Dodgers have put on the situation (youth/acute v. wear and tear)?
  5. How does his outlook change in a points league? Love the power, obviously, but will Ks keep him from the heights that have been forecasted in this thread?
  6. Didn't Noah Syndergaard have a rough go of it back in 2014? Perhaps not an apples-to-apples comparison, but it's pertinent regardless. Sure, his 2016 performance to date leave some things to be desired. Would you rather he turn out to be Cole/Syndergaard on someone else's team or a bust on yours? Seems like the risk-reward lies heavily in the "continue to hold" camp.
  7. He didn't even turn the jets on until he passed first....
  8. I'm so enamored by this guy. I'm sure I'm going to end up reaching for him in the spring. Where do we expect he falls in the fantasy prospect lists? Sounds like McDaniel has him in his top-40. That seems like a stretch. A guy like Rafael Devers didn't sniff that kind of ranking until he was in A-ball for half a season.
  9. That's the hope. I was on Devers last year when he was doing similarly impressive things but his approach has regressed a lot, at least in terms of what I can tell from his OBP. Maybe scouting the stat line too much but it's something to look out for. Here's to him keeping it up. Same here. Hope to grab Robles in 2016 when he is next available to be acquired. I'll admit I'm not following the stats on Devers as much as I do reports of his play. But I've heard nothing but good things, nothing of a regression.
  10. What are we looking at in terms of timing and rank of his debut on prospect lists? There's some awfully lofty expectations...no way he's a top-10 type prospect when he's added to said lists, right? Or is he? He's eligible for the July 2016 signing period which means he will show up on 2016 mid-season lists if he is still thought of so highly, right? In my league that means he will be eligible to be claimed/drafted prior to the 2017 season. Is that pretty typical timing for other leagues as well?
  11. How does he not make a bucket here and there? It's WAS for crying out loud. Who is defending him that he can't take it to the rack? Ugh.
  12. I think, where I get hung up, ballsohard, is that you seem to think Batum is far better than PG and much more of a complete player. Not many would argue that he's better, but far better? I can't see that.
  13. I was talking from a real life perspective, not fantasy. Still doesn't really answer the question. What makes him so much of a better real life player. PG is a very good, improving defensive player; he can stretch the floor with the 3-ball; he can create his own shot; appears to be improving his ball handling, though he still turns it over; but he probably needs work on his passing, though he does get a decent number of assists on occasion. Perhaps I'm wrong, as these are not observations but what I've heard?
