Carlos Sanchez is expected to join the White Sox on Friday in Oakland.
Micah Johnson was optioned to the minors on Thursday, clearing the way for Sanchez to take over as Chicago's primary second baseman. Sanchez, 22, is batting .344/.368/.466 with two home runs, 17 RBI, and five stolen bases in 29 games this season at the Triple-A level and could have some value in NL-only fantasy leagues. Emilio Bonifacio should continue to get some playing time at second, which muddies the situation a bit from a fantasy perspective.
Nice, NL only value!!
