  1. There’s a lot of noise now surrounding Ogunbowale, all be it mostly for his pass protection. Anyone see him as a real threat? The vultures have already spotted the carcass and snatched him up, ransoming Barber and Jones owners in bad trade offers. itsceftainly disappointing that Jones hasn’t flashed in preseason but it’s still kind of early and we don’t really know all details. Plus, I think eventually Anderson would become a bigger threat to Barber/Jones II, whoeverhe is ready. Until then I think I’ll be dismissing Ogunbowale hype, hopefully not to my own demise.
  2. No concern that Pit drafted Snell this year? I liked Samuels last year. I like him a bit this year. I think he might get play on receiving downs. But I worry that Snell would be Connor's early down replacement.
  3. I have Cook and Everett as my young TE. I def need RB way more. I did think about Hockenson, but I just don't think I need another TE that bad. Once Cook retires and if Everett doesn't break out, then I might regret that. But until then...
  4. So, in my 16 Team Dynasty rookie draft, I have pick 12 the first 9 picks were: 1. Montgomery 2. Jacobs 3. Sanders 4. Harry 5. Henderson 6. Singletary 7. Harris 8. Murray 9. Haskins I am definitely in need of a RB and am considering either Hill, Pollard, Mattison or D. Thompson at pick 12. That is early for all 3 of them but RB are going off the board fast. Also, there are so many decent WR in this class, I think I can still get one in the 2nd Round. I am leaning towards HIll out of that group. Is it too early to take him at 1.12? Im not even sure which WR I would go for. Def don't want to spend my 1st Round pick on a TE either. Hill had a great preseason game and i own Gus. This is really eating at me. The WR that are still available would be considered sort of steals here. Yet there are so may possible WR in this years draft, and RB are going so fast, something is telling me to take a RB here and wait for the 2nd Round to grab a WR like maybe McLaurin, Hurd, Parris Campbell might even till be available at 2.12 (pick 29 overall).

  9. If you are interested in taking over a current franchise in our 16 team H2H Yahoo dynasty we are currently trying to fill 3 team before the draft. I know its not a startup, but its a deep league entering its 6th season. The old Commish left, so we are making some changes this year. please email me at touchbelini@yahoo.com if you are interested. I will send you the rosters available at that time. thanks
  10. That was all in response to RMJ-12 suggesting “all (Chubb) has done is prove otherwise” to my original claim that Chubb still has a ways to go in order to prove he’s on Hunts level, let alone toward proving he’s an elite, top 5 - 10 RB. Just to clarify. But I guess Chubb already did that and I just missed it all? Or, ya crazy.
  11. Kareem Hunt outscored/outproduced Chubb by at least 7 spots in every single one of my fantasy leagues in 2018/2019 having played only 11 games to Chubbs 16 (or was it 15?). Since last season was Hunts worst of his career that means every year Hunt has played he has blown Chubbs rookie season out of the water. Thats both PPR and non ppr. Hunt was the 8th rAnked RB in most of mine, Chubb was the 15th RB in regular and like 21st in PPR. How anyone can suggest the above quote and expect it to not be taken as a joke is beyond me. Someone else suggested Chubb was a near lock to be a top 3 - 5 RB through the first 11 games this season..... My question is, what are you people on and can I have some? But also, this is fantasy football, not fantasy life. Any of these such suggestions are at best pure unfounded speculation and guessing, or at worst pure nonsense and lunacy. its fine to admit you are a big Chubb fan and expect huge things from him this season. But this other certain BS is just laughable and mind boggling. Hunt has been a superior RB thus far in their respective NFL careers. Chubb May or may not match Hunts rushing numbers, but Chubb will never come close to matching Hunts receiving numbers. That means Chubb will need to be a substantially better rusher just to match Hunts fantasy production. That is incredibly unlikely.
  12. Thats fair. But that’s basically my argument. He is a risk/gamble at that spot. He is yet to prove he can or will produce at that level. When and if he does then that gamble paid off, but it was a gamble none the less. Some folks are trying to argue Chubb has already proved better than Hunt. In what universe? There is nothing to back that up. Those are the claims I’m contesting.
  13. If you believe that you haven’t watched either of them play or compared their statistics. Forget college, it’s an uneven playing field to the extreme. Hunts rookie season blows Chubbs rookie NFL season out of the water. Hunt has performed about on par with that all NFL years while on the field. Chubb has had one NFL season, in which his stats don’t compare with Hunts any season. So come again? Either you are delusional or just FOS, because Chubb still has a ways to go in proving that. There is no argument you can find to argue what amounts to your opinion. Which you may ultimately be correct about the player, but he has not proven that by any rational standard. It’s all in your mind man.
  14. I don’t think that’s the worst case scenario. It’s somewhere on the list though. Not sure why some are so confident Chubb will be an elite RB this season. He certainly could be, but he also might not. He had a very good rookie season. Very good, nothing more. He showed a lot to be excited about, but I don’t think he showed enough to start putting him on a level of production with guys like Barkley, Zeke or Gurley. Top 10 is too rich for my taste taking him. If he does produce at that level then you’ve gotten the better end of a gamble. Nothing more. Further, between Mayfields legs and their many other weapons, including Hunt eventually, Chubb will likely be limited in TD opportunity relative to otherRBs on other teams. And those suggesting Hunts return is no cause for concern must not have watched either RB. As of today, Hunt has still been the better NFL RB and it’s not even really close.
  15. I agree with the majority of that article. But I believe Ekelar also put up some crazy good numbers in 4 years at Western Colorado State. All though I think he also missed about one game per year and might not of had as many carries. For me JJ just seems to have a more durable and suitable build for grinding a bit. Not completely ideal though, he could certainly do with adding some muscle weight. But more than anything, if MG does sit out, the Chargers have no reason to play either RB until the parts fall off. They would be better served splitting time between the two for various reasons. Trying to use either as bellcow serves no benefit to them or either player.
