queenie 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Is Mario Williams available? I'd go Ryans or Greenway. Greenway really does nothing but tackle.
TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Too late to change now... but for a projection, I'm gonna say I should've gone with Ware... Won't know until after monday night. D'Qwell still had a great game in Combined Tackles. But he got hurt Monday Night by the fact that Andra Davis had one of his "Remember-when-I-was-on-the-cusp-of-greatness-Here's-why" efforts. TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Im thinking of getting rid of Vilma and Zach thomas - these guys listed below are on the wire - thoughts on the 2 I should go with?Barton Adibi Howard Greenway Tatupa Winborn Woodyard Would love some opinions. 1 pt tackle, .5 assit, 2 sack or interception, 1 pass defended This is weird. I wrote a response to this yesterday but obviously got distracted by something shiny since I never posted. Barton has great matchups but will probably only be Lead Dog on the inside if David Harris remains out. I like Tatupu and Greenway. Give the slight edge to Greenway just because he has been outplaying his matchups.
TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Looks like Vilmas stock is rapidly falling. He nearly cost me my shot at a perfect season (won by 1.60 pts.). So who to pick up for him and maybe Brackett ? My league is tackle heavy (2 pts tckl, 1 pt. a**.).Greenway, Barton, Dansby, Mayo, Woodyard, Ryans ... ? EDIT: Oops. Again, Barton's value may hinge upon Harris's return. I really do like his schedule. But since that is an unknown quantity I put it: Greenway, Barton, Mayo. I'll give Barton the edge over Mayo here because he should still be good for a couple more starts and Harris may not be the same upon returning.
TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Toy Soldiers- Wilson would have been the response but he's likely to be suspended one game. That won't help you. I would stick with Hope.

Ray Barboni 310 Posted November 18, 2008 Gonna get an early start on my IDP questions this week boys... Locked into my starting lineup this week is James Harrison vs Cincy Need 2 more starters: Peppers @ ATL ---Starting LT Sam Baker will be out for the Falcons...Backup Todd Weiner protected Matt Ryan well last week... Trent Cole @ BAL ---Starting LT Gaither should be questionable this week, and his backup Adam Terry is also battling injuries... Terrell Suggs vs Philly --The Bungles defense gave McNabb problems, i can only imagine what Suggs and co. could do at home... Kirk Morrison @ DEN ---Great LB...but not a good matchup IMO because of Denvers inability to run the ball... Thanks for the help guys... In addition to my IDP lineup help i would also like to ask which one of these defenders is the most droppable....Im looking to pick up Dustin Keller as insurance for my Kellen Winslow. I_AM_A_NINJA 0 Posted November 18, 2008 How do you guys like: Ware@SF(Consistent.. doesnt rackup tackles, but plays with alot of pride and always makes big plays) Steve Cooper@IND(one of my favs..nose for the ball) Harrison@CIN(assuming he's a must start?) THoward@DEN(pretty good in pass coverage, will be tested im sure) XAdibi@CLE(will get run@.. the kid is FAST.. but is he even starting this week? seems eager to please) SFujita@GB(seems pretty good in pass coverage, also quicker to the ball than Vilma at times)SBradley SBradley@BAL(has been playing out of his mind recently.. can it continue? does he play passing downs?) Pick 3 please!
Timmah! 72 Posted November 18, 2008 stevemann - tough call, because none of them seem particularly stellar. I'll go with Cole, coming off a big game, and Morrison, for his consistency and the general stinginess of the opponents your Sack specialists are facing. Suggs is tempting at home, though....If someone else wants to argue more strongly on his behalf, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Ninja - I'll take Ware, Harrison and Bradley from that list. 49ers give up 3.6 Sacks/G, the Bengals are a touch worse, and it's pretty hard to argue against a guy with 23 ST's in his last two games. GoPackGo 2 Posted November 19, 2008 Josh Wilson vs. Redskins Yermiah Bell vs. Patriots Leodis McKelvin @ KC scoring system is in my sig. I've been off at the DB spot lately. 2 weeks ago I started Eric Wright in a great matchup vs. Denver and he had a dud game. Last week I started Bell vs. Oakland and he middle of the road game while Wilson was on my bench having a huge game. Scoring system is in my sig-(return yards count) Pointswise, Josh Wilson is the #1 DB in my league despite splitting kickoff return duties with Forsett. Bell is #6. McKelvin has the opportunity to be huge since Greer is out in week 12 because he gets all of the kickoffs too. Should I just plug in Wilson and leave him there for the rest of the season or keep attemting to play the matchups?

Caucasian_Sensation 1 Posted November 20, 2008 Need some advice here....Im in a MUST win situation to make the playoffs and I have to try to maximize my teams scoring potential...3db's 3dl/lb 1 bench spot 1pt per tackle .5 for assist 2pts per sack 1pt per PD 3pts per int Ive already locked in: Bradley @Bal Cooper @ Ind 3rd spot is either Adibi @ cle Smith @ min DB's (needs lots of help...) Antrel Rolle @ NYG Sanders(dont know if hes playing yet) @ SD Jonathan Joseph (again dont know if hes playing) @ PIT Now I need to pick up a DB or 2 depending on if any of my DB's are playing...probably gonna pick up josh wilson from seattle whos the safer drop Adibi or Daryl Smith from Jac? TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 20, 2008 SteveMann- Hate your matchups. Yippee! Huh? Play Morrison. No way he has two bad games against Denver in one season. No way. Cole has a slighter figure here than the next two. But he has been doing well as you are well aware. And Tim took him over the others and he has a better feel for Cole than I. I say it's a tight call between Peppers and Suggs. Peppers had a nice game against ATL earlier this season. Historically, however, is another matter. Still he's gone dog nuts of late. Suggs has a 4-5 ST base in the matchup. With Westbrook "hobbled' it sounds like another 100 PAs from Don is coming. Balty's pass rush is just a little better than Cincy's. Since Tim liked Suggs between him and Peppers I'll take Suggs. Does any of that make sense to...anybody?

ragincajun 0 Posted November 20, 2008 Hey guys, I'm looking to drop Suggs (who is one gift pick-six from having been abysmal the past three or four games) and pick up one of these guys for this week. I have no idea what to do. I'm currently starting Woodley and need to pick the other starter. Besides Suggs, I also have Morrison (at DEN) and Dansby (vs. NYG). What do you think? Bradley at BAL Mayo at MIA Barton at TEN Adibi at CLE My scoring system: solo tackle = 1 (assisted = 0) PD = 1 sack = 4 (half-sacks = 0) INT/DFR = 6 FF = 4 TD = 8 (with bonuses for 50+ and 75+)
TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 20, 2008 Should I drop Trop Polamulo...cant spell for Adrian Wilson Yes. and Lamaar Woodley for J Porter??? It'd help to know your scoring format, though they are fairly evenly matched except for Lamarr's TO edge. Miami has a schedule suited to Joey's talents. I like Woodley a lot. A huge reason I do (besides his megapoints) is that he outplays his matchup. But while I hope he returns to full strength, he isn't there at this time. It'd be cool if you could wait until after tomorrow night's game to make your move. But I imagine you're asking now because time is of the essence. I wouldn't make the move. But that's me and I play a little dangerously, relying on my ability to find spot-plays if he can't go for me down the stretch. The move makes sense. If you feel good about it then make the swap. TitaniumMan 0 Posted November 20, 2008 Would Stewart Bradley make you feel any better this week against Baltimore? Oh yes. I like Stewart this week. I am starting Stewart this week.
eom 2 Posted November 20, 2008 Â 3rd spot is eitherAdibi @ cle Smith @ min DB's (needs lots of help...) I drop smith and play adibi --- that jax situation is a little shifty, and I think adibi is the better player. he might've even missed a 13 play drive last game, but I'm not 100% on that, and I think cle should be a pretty target rich environment in the same was indy was. I can't help as far as the injured guys go --- you'll just have to wait for friday practice, but in general I hate to rely on guys like that unless they're real studs who have a history of playing w/injuries. how is josh wilson available in your league?? do you get return yardage? anyway, I read a blurb about josh hurting his ankle in practice, so keep an eye on that. autiger8l5 58 Posted November 20, 2008 Who would you rather have for the rest of the season??? Woodley or J Porter??? Porter has an easy schedule

Should I just plug in Wilson and leave him there for the rest of the season or keep attemting to play the matchups? Can you only start one? I like McKelvin most of all....he looked phenomenal on returns, and I think he's going to handle himself alright in coverage. With how much KC is throwing the ball these days, he's going to get PD and pick chances, which Ibelieve is something TM has mentioned elsewhere (the Breakout thread, perhaps?). If you're starting two, make it McKelvin and Bell....I'm always leery of speed guys with dinged wheels. Cole has a slighter figure here than the next two. But he has been doing well as you are well aware. And Tim took him over the others and he has a better feel for Cole than I. Latest word out of Boddamer is that both starting OT's are, at best, questionable for Sunday....it's looking more favorable for 'ol Trent. autiger - I'm going to echo TM's sentiments.....I'd prefer Porter, but if you feel strongly enough about replacing him with Woodley, then go for it. That being said, your most recent comment leads me to believe you're leaning toward keeping Blabbermouth, which I can endorse.
GoPackGo 2 Posted November 20, 2008 Timmah, I only start 1 DB. Thanks for your opinion. I'll keep Wilson on the bench for now, drop Bell and pick up McKelvin

autiger8l5 58 Posted November 20, 2008 yeah I am leaning towards porter.....I want to drop Woodley after tonights matchup but Im sure porter will be gone, Porter has a good looking schedule going forward and Im not sure about woodley's but he has a great matchup tonight.
