Well yeah, Villalona is projected to be a really nice piece down the road, and the next superstar to emerge from the international free agent signings. I'm not too well versed in him, but yes, all projections on him point to stardom.

Betances (which I do know more about), is a monster like the guy eludes to. His heght allows him to project the ball downward at a very good angle, thus it kinda has a sinker ball effect, and he throws his fastball in the mid to upper 90's. And his knuckle curve is legit, and yes that changeup is improving. The Yankees had him in very extended spring training this year, to work on his mechanics, and in 2 starts he's been ok. The Yankees want him to focus more on his mechanics and secondary pitches this year, and also limit the amount of innings on his arm, so the results this year may not be out of this world type. He should start putting together better numbers as the years go on.

On a side note, someone hire Vanderbilt's scouts. Had Betances not signed with the Yankees, he was all set to go there. That would have set them up, with possibly 3 straight No. 1 picks in the MLB draft, with Price this year, Alverez next year, and Betances the year after. Throw in Weathers, who got picked this year, and thats some nice scouting.
