Dude the Hotelier are f***king awesome. Their first cd is amazing.

Kaleo. They play all the lamer songs on the radio but these dudes can flat out shred. They have a twangy, southern sound to them as well.

Yes, that record and Big Ups were excellent finds.  I'll have to look into that first album!

These guys have a $5 mp3 album on Amazon this month.  Because of that, I had to buy their other two albums too.

Seriously? There was a free show by my house last weekend and Kaleo was part of it, but the song they play on the radio is terrible.

Anyone a Beatles fan? Remastered Live at the Hollywood Bowl comes out Friday. Pretty pumped about it.

The "way down we go" song is horrible. It's typical radio trash. They have some songs on that cd where the guy lets rip on guitar and it's got a twangy, southern country feel to it. I listen to a lot of jam rock, so I appreciate the guys that can get up there and just kind of roll with it, which they do pretty well on most (not all) of their songs. Alt - J is another one of my favorites that come to mind, where their radio songs are "meh" but the remainder of the cd is amazing.

Oasis has a documentary coming out soon which I'm pretty pumped about. Brit rock is awesome stuff. Catfish and the Bottlemen are another awesome UK band, both CDs they have are solid alt-rock gems.

Ya the Oasis documentary should be cool. There is a Ron Howard directed Beatles documentary out next week as well.

Wow...just heard this track...I don't usually listen to hip hop but the lyrics in this are legit and actually talking about real life not the same old shi$ that most hip hop is.
