Rotogenius Is Here To Help: 2012-2013

Recommended Posts

Rotogenius lend a hand please:

I'm deciding between starting Cook as my TE and Olsen vs. Ronnie Brown in my flex. Setup that way so I have 3 extra hours to decide btw Olsen and brown. My gut is telling me to stick with the two TEs since brown isn't exceptional, but could be a decent flex

I would almost never start a TE over a starting running back. I'd go Brown and Olsen.

Brandon Lloyd or Antonio Brown?

Rudolph or Pettigrew?

Pick 2 of: F-Jax, Charles, Doug Martin

I'll use preseason chemistry as a tie-breaker for two great options. Brown.

Pettigrew.

Like 'em all, but I guess I'm sitting Charles. Hillis may take all his goal line chances, making him the least likely to score.

Donald Brown, Kevin Smith, Rashad Jennings. Which one? It's a ppr league

Kevin Smith. Clearest role in a great offense.

Jennings will lose receptions to MJD and has a tough matchup. Not enamored with Brown.

I am starting DMC at Rb1 but who should I start at Rb2 and Flex?

Charles, D Williams or Ridley.

Standard scoring (no ppr). As of now I am leaning towards benching Charles.

Thank you.

Sproles, Reggie Bush, Ben Tate, Green-Ellis, Hillis, Torrey Smith

Appreciate the help.

Who should I start today in my flex? .5 PPR

CJ Spiller @ NYJ or Mike Williams vs Carolina

And apparently the weather is bad in Tampa.

Don't love either option, but I'll go Mike Williams. Plays most snaps and Tampa should have to throw a bunch to keep up.

Flex, standard scoring:

McGahee, DHB or Steve Johnson.

For what its worth, I put Nate Washington in over Stevie due to his groin and the fact that the Bills will be "monitoring" him this game.

Thoughts on both?

Joe Flacco vs. Cincy

or

Jake Locker vs. New England

After the draft, I did a good enough job of convincing myself that THIS would finally be Flacco's year (despite experts predicting that for 3 years now). And I thought Cincy's banged up secondary would give him a good start. But Cincy held him to about 200 yards per game last year, and both were grind it out AFC North type games.

Locker seems to be the darling of the last few days. Obviously will be playing from behind vs. NE. Even without Britt he has quite a few weapons, and NE allowed 290 yards per game passing last year. And his running ability on top of that should provide 30 yards or so bonus.

But Locker seems like much more or a risk, and that passing accuracy is always a worry.

Do I pull the trigger and take the risk with starting Locker? (wouldn't have to drop Flacco, by the way).

1 ppr. Gerhart, Jacquizz, or Williams at flex?

DeAngelo and it's not close. First names would help when it's a name like Williams.

Can you please offer your opinion on my flex options?

Law Firm vs. Baltimore

or

Peyton Hillis vs. ATL.

I'm leaning toward Hillis

Rotogenius - Please help me pick a deep league WR option from the following:

B. Edwards

D. Avery

E. Sanders

Streater

S. Smith (Stl)

insight appreciated.

For me, it comes down to Streater or Edwards. Sanders has a limited role, Smith is the definition of low upside and Avery is too much of a question mark for me.

I'd go Edwards. Using the track record as the tie-breaker.

Start Arian Foster, Robert Turbin or Donald Brown?

Foster's playing, so I couldn't possibly start one of those guys over him.

Charles or Martin, standard scoring league

I like 'em both. I'd go Charles, as he has tremendous upside.

Peterson or Donald Brown with the news that AP is starting and could get a good amount of work...

Also, pick two: Bowe, Blackmon, Rice... Bowe has to face one of Asante or Grimes whereas Blackmon gets the crappy Vikings D and his team will probably be down. Rice facing off vs Rodgers-Cromartie.

Pick 3 to start today: Arian Foster, Michael Turner, Ben Tate, Kevin Smith, Peyton Hillis

Tough one. Really tough one with the injury. The matchup is great, but really tough to guess how the carries will be distributed with Houston. I'll go Smith, Turner and Tate, but this is very tough.

Definitely Williams. I'll go Ridley over Charles too, though I can't believe it. I like New England to win big and Charles won't get the rock at the goal line.
