Terrell Suggs

3 posts in this topic

Sounds like Terrell Suggs is close to returning to action, only 6 months after tearing his Achilles' tendon. No doubt he will play limited snaps to start, but I'm thinking he makes an excellent stash in deep IDP leagues right now. He could be playing close to a full compliment of snaps by the fantasy playoffs and we all know he's a holy terror out there. The Ravens will need him too, with the loss of Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb.

Any thoughts on Suggs?

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles') is targeting and expecting to play in Sunday's game against the Texans.

Previous reports had Suggs targeting mid-November for his return to game action, so this is a stunner. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year is only six months removed from his Achilles' tendon tear -- an injury that usually takes at least nine months to recover from. Per Schefter, Suggs' friends and family are traveling to Houston this week as long as he doesn't suffer a setback in practice. It's a major emotional and physical boost to a Ravens defense that lost Ray Lewis (triceps) and Lardarius Webb (knee) in Week 6. Suggs has racked up 138 tackles and 25 sacks in his last 32 games.

He had a nice first game back. He's a little out of shape but the BYE came a great time......He won't be as good as last year but he's a great player and natural pass rusher. Could do worse than picking him up if yoru league rewards sacks heavily. Never been a big tackle guy....

It would be nice if Yahoo fantasy football would give Suggs DL eligibility. Ive sent several messages to them asking for the LB/DL eligibility.
