Emeka Okafor 2012-2013 Season Outlook

Looks like playing with Nene(who's never been a great rebounder) has helped him because he actually is able to box out. They only really run a 3 big rotation with Okafor, Nene, and Seraphin so the minutes should be there

should I drop Deandre Jordan for Oakafor? In need of blocks and good overall production.

Anybody think he can return to averaging a double double like years past? He seems to be hitting his stride.

i just picked him up for hibbert. Might be a bad move but what's the point waiting for someone to get better and keep throwing him out there when he is just absolutely terrible 8 out of 10 games.

He's on a hot streak but I just don't think he can keep it up. The Wizards will be blown out many times this year forcing him to the bench and when teams go small it will probably be Nene in there at center and not him

Like someone posted earlier, the big rotation is basically just 3 guys (Nene, Okafor, Seraphin) for 2 spotsn (PF, C). And just reiterating what others have mentioned multiple times, the minutes will be there. I think we forget that this guy was the ROY! He used to be a double double machine. Injuries plagued him the past couple of years.

If you need FG%, Boards, 1.5 blks, with low TO's, and can take the FT% hit, you're not going to find much better on the WW. I picked this guy up 4 games ago, after someone got frustrated with his early season struggles. And my rebound woes have gone away. Absolutely love what he's doing and I for one am going to enjoy the ride while it lasts, hopefully all season.

yeah, i picked him up a few days ago.

I was watching him play, he really looks lively out there.

I assume the practice he gets with Nene 1-on-1 has paid off. Both guys look good out there.

2 AST, 12 PTS, 2 ST, 7 REBS End of 3rd

he didn't really do much the rest of the way, but miss free throws...

Yeah i kinda jinxed it alil huh? Haha. After the 3rd he really didn't do anything much, but still ended up up with a mediocore game.

This guy has been playing some great basketball as of late. He was cheap too. Grabbed on the FA list after I traded my Varajeo. I doubt Seraphin will start anytime soon if Okafor continues playing like this.
