aaaaaand....David Wilson ADP skyrockets. But don't forget about Andre Brown possibly still getting all the goal line looks. Hard to pass up wilson's talent, but he'll come expensive now, excited to see this kid in a starting role.

Where does Bradshaw land???

Is Wilson really ready for a starting gig? I can't see this being anything more than a time-share between Andre Brown and Wilson, at to begin with.

why did I think Bradshaw was like 29 or 30?

hes only 26...

Unfortunately his feet are 36......

Great moves by the G-Men. They shed 14 million in cap space by cutting Bradshaw (expendable due to injuries and Brown/Wilson), Boley (dude was benched last year), and Canty (good but not worth price tag).

Good offseason start IMO.

Very smart moves, only 1 without a replacement already on the roster is Canty.

Now let's re-sign Beatty/Bennett and cut Diehl ASAP.

I predict RBBC but it may not matter for Wilson, he'll still produce.

I also predict Bradshaw to GB, Benson gone.

Canty, Bradshaw, and Boley gone.

Phillips, Beatty, Boothe, Bennett, Tynes, Hixon, Barden, and Umenyiora all unrestricted free agents.

Diehl and Webster possible cuts or restructure candidates due to salaries way above their production.

Cruz, A Brown, and S Brown restricted free agents.

Big decisions to be made in the land of Big Blue!!!

They are roughly 6 million under the cap now. Wilson replaces Bradshaw. Jaquain Williams replaces Boley. Hate losing Canty but he's been hurt more often than not so in reality, not a huge loss and he wasn't worth the money due to him this year.

You can pretty much write off Philips/Tynes/Umenyiora. They are as good as gone.

There is no way Diehl returns at his projected cap number. I think they are working on extending Beatty before they release him though. I honestly think Webster gets a 2-3 year extension to minimize his cap number this year.

If I understand the cap correctly, Cruz/Brown/Brown are restricted free agents and their tenders are already factored into the cap. Pretty sure they have roughly 5-6 million available at the moment, pending restructures/releases.

Trust the Reese, I'm not worried at all.

Same here not worried, Reese knows his s***. Brown/Wilson duo for Bradshaw, J Williams for Boley, and Canty saves 6 million.

Beatty should be priority #1 or any T for that matter.

Let Philips walk with Stevie Brown stepping up last year. Osi will get signed somewhere.

They still have Kiwi/Tuck/JPP and Ojomo and Tracy waiting in the wings.

Webster will get restructured, Diehl might but he would have to take a significant paycut.

I honestly think they should go real hard at LB in free agency or the draft. Their LB play has been bad for years and it has been hidden with that stacked DL play.

I don't want them to overpay for Bennett either.

Bennett said he'd take less to stay here ... so we'll see. This is a good draft class for TE and there are some solid free agents too [Cook, Finley, Keller, etc.] Plus Reese has the "JPP of TEs" locked up so who knows.

If Diehl's cut, that's ~10 million in cap : enough to lock up Cruz long-term and they are already looking to extend Nicks.

I want Kiwi moved back to DE where he belongs and this draft also happens to be deep at DE so I wouldn't be shocked if we go with another in the first.

Ogletree, Georgia LB, and Warmack [G] from Alabama are at the top of my draft wish list. Ogletree could fill in at MLB or SAM [if Kiwanuka shifts to end] and is a great pass rusher for a LB. We're lucky this draft is actually very deep at OL/DL/TE so pretty confident Reese will pull a few gems in the later rounds. Warmack is just a beast at G, instant upgrade to the OL.

Really excited to see a healthy Jaquain Williams this year, very underrated injury that most casual fans didn't even pay attention to, but he was a huge loss. I'd be very happy with a LB corp that includes Williams/Ogletree ... great speed at the LB position.

beatty re-upped for 5 years. great deal for a LT in his prime.

dominoes should start to fall soon ... i'm pretty sure they wanted to lock up Beatty before any more moves (Webster/Diehl) were made.

i expect diehl to take a huge pay cut or be released in the near future. his cap number is ridiculous for a mediocre player at this point.

Nicks/Cruz extensions are in the works, Bennett will be allowed to test free agency.

The Giants basically assign a value to a player and tell them take it/leave it. It happended with Bradshaw a few years ago ... He came back after shopping the Giants offer.

I expect Bennett to leave, but it's a good draft class and their are some quality FAs available so could keep his demands in check. The Giants/Reese are very high on Adrien Robinson, another reason I doubt they overpay Bennett. Nicks/Cruz are far more important players to retain longterm.

Now if they can only get some players who can play when they have expectations and maybe sign that WR they have who wants to be paid out the nose.

Diehl base salary of 4.5 is a must to be restructured or released IMO.

I'm surprised he hasn't been already, to be honest. I guess the Giants are trying to restructure since they've already waited this long. Same goes for Corey Webster, who was terrible last year.

Giants are in a tricky spot though....they're going to have to pay both Cruz and Nicks at some point (Cruz is more pressing at the moment with his RFA status), not to mention JPP. Most of the core guys are getting older and pricier as well....Tuck, IMO, hasn't been the same player since Flozell Adams tripped him a few years ago.

Aside from Diehl/Webster....my guess is that they let Bennett walk and either do another 1 year deal with a TE or just find someone internally (they're high on Adrien Robinson, who will be entering his second season). They'll probably let Tynes walk as well for minimal savings on a kicker.

Beatty has only a 1 million dollar contract for next year. They just restructured Kiwanuka's contract to save 1 milliion too. They are working hard to fit in under the cap.

I think Phillips, Bennett, and Tynes are as good as gone.

In terms of Cruz, Nicks, and JPP contracts, Tuck, Diehl, and Webster are FA next year, and Rolle is FA year after that. Cruz and Nicks are definite high priority now. Next year JPP will be reupped, but I am guessing some of Webster, DIehl, and Tuck's 16 million combined pays for that.

cutting diehl and webster would free up ~$10,000,000 in cap

i have no idea why diehl is still on the roster.

Being so thin at CB, I dont think Webster gets cut. Restructured yes, but no way cut IMO.

As for Diehl, I think they restructure him and he is fallback if Boothe doesnt' resign at Guard.

my dream offseason move is cutting webster/diehl and throwing money at Sean Smith [MIA CB].

Wouldn't mind taking a chance on honey badger in the 3rd round either. He's a great player and can return punts/play slot CB.

Smith/Prince/Matheu/Hosley ... I'd love it.

*wouldn't mind cutting Diehl and waking up to news that Eric Winston is coming in for a visit either ... Beatty/Winston would be a very good tandem at tackle and fills a huge need. cutting diehl saves almost 5 million in cap and would put the Giants 9-10 million under. i think webster actually ends up getting a 2-3 year extension that's heavily backloaded and lowers his cap number this year rather than getting cut, but i can dream.

baas has just restructured his deal, freeing another 2 million

i can only assume webster/diehl will be next, as their cap numbers are just ridiculous ... i know cutting them would free up approx 10 million and leave the giants with 15-16 million to play with. that is enough to extend cruz and make a big move in free agency.

giants are rumored to be interested in anthony fasano and charles woodson.

* corey webster has agreed to a pay cut, reducing his salary by 3 million [still a 1 year deal]

my numbers aren't exact but today's moves put the Giants at 8-10 million under the cap. pretty good considering that includes beatty's new deal.
