Flooding in most of the Chicagoland area as it has been raining non stop for over 24 hours now. Doesn't look like its ending anytime soon either. The forecast is calling for rain until 10 tonight.

Not that the game has a very good chance of being played, but, any word on why Berkman is out of the lineup against a righty (Villanueva)

IGNORE. No DH. :)

Based on the radar, the rain doesn't look very heavy currently. More than likely the rain you guys are getting now, will be the same rain you guys will be getting @ game time - light to moderate rain. If the game was right now, could they play?

I'd say its no different than when they canceled the game yesterday.

I would think that they would try to get at least one of them in... A lot easier to make up one interleague game instead of two...

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Are there any double header games tentatively scheduled for today, weather permitting?

No DH scheduled... Sorry for the confusion... I meant that they will try to get in today's game as much as possible as to not have to schedule a DH at another date...

Cuddyer was just scratched from the lineup due to a minor leg injury according to Rotoworld. He apparently wanted to play, but given that the field will be wet today with all of the melted snow from yesterday, the Rockies did not want to test it.

He is being replaced by Eric Young, Jr., who will start in right field. I imagine that the lineup order will be shaken up as a result.
