keeping the folks updated on Oswalt's comeback bid. FB at 93, high of 94. Same as he was in the minors. Breaking stuff looks fine but he's thrown basically all FB so far

both of his strikeouts came on the FB. Will be very interesting to see how he does vs better lineups

Be more interesting if the umpire makes him throw some strikes. Very expanded strike zone so far.

yeah sorry ... that laroche K was sinker, FB, change. 93 mph to 84.

hasn't thrown many curveballs, but did get it down to 73. pretty impressive so far.

Josh Bustledge isn't in the game so this thread should actually be somewhat easy to read through today.

JZimm - 25 of 28 pitches are strikes. He's gonna give up a lot of hits at that rate.

Nats lineup been pretty crap all year. People still buying if Oswalt throws a gem here?

if he's maintains a 10 -20 mph difference between his FB/other pitches it won't matter who he's pitching against. outside of the HR, he's done everything i've wanted to see so far.

hitting 92-93 consistently and dropping down to 73 ... pretty impressive.

his stuff is there, if he can command it, as he has for the most part tonight (with a few mistakes), he will handle any offense.

drooling over the Ks. Will be nervous about him pitching at Coors, but he's a GB pitcher?

Oswalt is irrevelant. Zimm is dirty tonight

yeah he's looking quite irrelevant out there tonight. 8 Ks and we're not even through 4 innings
