Bettis appears likely to be called up to start Thursday against Atlanta, according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post.

Anything to see here? Seems like he is going to make a start.

Looks intriguing. Never heard of him but looking over his minor league stats I like what I see. Strikeout pitchers can always be useful. I'm making a speculative add in my Dynasty league but doubt I start him until I see what he can do.

Rockies have been desperate for a 5th starter, he's getting a shot. If he performs he will stick.

He's got a sick fastball and slider. I owned him in a dynasty league three years ago but dropped him after he missed most of last season with a shoulder injury. He's been very good this year.

I picked him up in a crazy deep league when i read this thread (thanks op) to watch and evaluate on Thursday.

If he was pitching anywhere bu Colorado I think he'd have a lot more value. Pretty good numbers at Double-A and also showed great command. Anyone know what his fastball tops out at?

He used to work at 95/96 and hit 98. I think he's been about 2 mph down this year but don't quote me on that.

I hate Rockies pitchers but thought enough of him years ago to own him for over a year and a half. The scoring reports were that good.
