What is the story here? This guy is filling in for Montero, hitting .357 over 100+ AB's and has not played in the minors this or really last year. Where did this guy come from? He's also 35 years old!

Montero might be back soon. He's been solid in my 2C league. He'll hit for average and some RBIs, but don't count on him for any power.

.416 BABIP. Nothing to see here.

Not sure where it sits now, probably still above .400, but still.... 35 years old and out of nowhere, this is a bit interesting. With Miguel on his way back coupled with the fact that he was finally hitting well for the first time really all year for about a whole month+ prior to getting hurt, leads me to believe that he should get the job back no problems.... but I'm officially (at the least) intrigued by Nieves. But the question may be am I more intrigued if we have found our next random juicer, or if he's just THAT lucky..... I should see where his BABIP sits now, a week after that comment, with his average still over .350 (maybe higher?...he's 2/4 with 2 RBI today and a run or two to boot... playing a lot...)

If Montero has any issues, and you can stomach little power, he's a nice 2nd (or backup depending on roster size) catcher.
