NFL.com's Perfect Challenge Discussion (Rotoworld Group)

7 posts in this topic

The NFL Perfect Challenge is a free weekly fantasy football game, where you can win a $1 million prize by picking the highest scoring fantasy players at the following positions:

Quarterback

Running Back (Both #1 and #2)

Wide Receiver (Both #1 and #2)

Tight End

Kicker

Defense/Special Teams

Yeah, I know it's nearly impossible to accomplish, but it's free, so why not? I created a Rotoworld group, so we can all laugh at each others bad picks and whatnot. The group doesn't mean anything at all, but I think it'll be fun to see what Rotoworld member comes out on top at the end of the year.

So you are basically just trying to pick the guys who score the most points at their respective positions for Week 1? And for RB and WR, you need to correctly pick the #1 and #2 highest scoring players at each of their positions?

Correct. Each week, you just submit the players you think will score the most points and who knows, you might get lucky.

I shall go with the weekly line up of

Rodgers

AP

Martin

Megatron

Dez

Graham

Legatron

49ers

It's bound to happen once right?

If you assume that each player you listed above has a 30% chance of being #1 (or #2, if it's RB/WR, and you've already selected a #1), then your odds of that lineup being correct are 0.3^8 = 0.00006561, or 0.006561% chance.

That being said, it's probably the most likely lineup for it to happen with, so have at it!

Best of luck to all!

So, anyone out there have Manning and Julius Thomas penciled in? Looks like I'll have to wait another week for my $1 Million.
