Drafted him early 7th round last year, was really happy with his performance

how has he gone in mocks? i haven't been able to join one yet, i always get home too late.

do you think he can produce the same, if not better than last season

Target him in the middle rounds. Good for 13-15ppg 7-8rpg and 1bpg

You think he'll get a blk a game this year?

He just got paid and the Wolves should be at full strength, unlike last season. Aside from the ORB's and putbacks, not sure the touches will be there for him. Couple that with the real possibility that he is going to miss 15+ games per usual and I think he's overdrafted in many leagues based on last season. I'm not going to touch him until the 7th-8th round in standard size leagues.

Why not? Who will paly D in the frontcourt? Levin Love? 1bpg is not bad for him

The dude has never blocked more than 0.8 per game. 1.0 isn't out of the question but it's no where near the guarantee you've pegged it to be.

If you're not a shot blocker you just don't all of a sudden become one in your late 20's with mileage. I think he's going to have his hands full setting screens and boxing out as a complimentary player, which unfortunately doesn't translate fantasy-wise. Drafting him with expectations of improving off last year is probably foolish.

It's clear that pek won't improve his defensive stats. The way he plays defense just isn't conducive to blocks and steals. He just isn't much of a leaper, more positional. I don't think his rebounds are affected much since he played with about 9 reb's per until the last month. Kevin Love grabbing 14 rebounds didn't affect him at all, and he didn't grab any more after Love was out (which was annoying to me as I expected better). I think he will be on par to last year, which would make him a huge steal mid rounds.

Pairing Pek with a guards who block like Wade, Bledsoe, Wall, Batum, etc is a great way to make up for his lack of blocks. Very clever move IMO

what is his projections for this year with love back? is 16 and 10 reasonable? rubio is there to feed as well

I remember him doing well with Love on or off the court. I don't see why he couldn't put up those kind of numbers. I'll be targeting him. He's fun to watch.

He has a tendency to miss games though, I would pencil him in for 65 games which may or may not affect his value to you.

Pek's a career 53% FG shooter, but this year he's at 39%. If he starts shooting 50% he'll be a lot easier to play. These low FG% games and 3-4 TO games are tough to swallow.

Really thin at C, and Pek was dropped today, probably going to pick him up saturday when he's cleared and drop McLemore.
